I don't know... it's tough for me to choose one or the other in terms of cake or pie. My grandmother's homemade German chocolate cake is amazing, as is her coconut cake with fresh coconut shavings, not out of a can, both are just great. Her pecan pie beats all as well, tough to pick.

I think it's because the only way to have such high turnaround like they do at this place is to yell at us slow talkin' Southerners to hurry the hell up. Dude...that rocks!  The Pie Nazis!  Black Ladies that work behind pie counters = hilarity!  My wife is going to freak when I bring her a special southern pie!  The peach ones sound like the bomb.

Hmm... maybe a dry rub bbq'ed baby would be good, or maybe go South Carolina low country style bbq and just pour mustard and pepper on it and grill it.Baby is red meat, right? A nice red Bordeaux would be ideal I think.

being someone ressurected the thread and i was listening to some replay i'll toss my 1 1/2 cents inRonnie threw me for a loop with the Don Vito discussion.  When a caller calls in and states that "a 12 year old girl can look like 18" Ronnie jumps on e'm about heading down a 'slippery slope' and sometimes rips into them in a "morality or lack thereof" type way. Then fez told the caller who called in that the caller was passing blame onto the 12 year old girl for looking older.All i heard from Ronnie being Don was his friend was "Don or Vince has no idea what he's doing" and trying to get everyone to understand he has no idea what he's doing and it was to a point where Ronnie was defending Don Vito even if he did touch/grope a 12 year old.He attempted to point blame to "Don's people who should have been watching out". Then a woman called in and said "who are these parents who drop off teenagers to this type of event" and Ronnie was agreeing with her when in reality nothing give's anyone the right to grope a 12 year old girl.I know Ronnie has emotional ties to Don Vito but i think it made him somewhat hypocritical.I'm not saying the guy is innocent or guilty cause i wasn't there. However the way Ronnie spoke of Don Vito and him not having any ability to realize what he's doing then it gives you the impression he most likely did it...
