I just re-watched this week's ep, and for some reason I had this strange feeling during the museum scene that Ando is gonna be the one who dies. I think Hiro is the fuzzy lollipop of the group.

i don't get the spoiler text...neither of you is sure, so you aren't really ruining anything. unless you have read it as happening. plus the 3 names mentioned are the obvious 3 most likely to actually be it. i mean i can guess also, does that mean i need to put it in special text?
Maybe Claires dad is the invisible man guy. He seems to know and accept the idea of special powers and accurately described Peter as an empath. Claires mom is casually lighting a cig with her fingers like its no big deal. Maybe that is how Claire ends up in NY to go find him.

The promos show that RealMom just picked up her phone and dialed RealDad. Which led me to either Linderman or Bennett. Linderman being the real dad would be more shocking than a Rush/Steve Sanders deal. It would also explain Linderman's fascination with all things Hero-related.

(BTW, for all of you who didn't watch 90210: Steve Sanders was adopted. One of the later season episodes featured him trying to find his birth parents. As I remember it, birth mom was dead and there was no "real dad" listed on the birth certificate. Steve had a breakdown until Rush, his adopted dad who he had a very contempous relationship with, revealed that he had a short relationship with BirthMom (cheating on Steve's adopted mom), and they couldn't conceive. Rush, who was rich, worked the system so when BirthMom gave Steve up for adoption they took over custody... so Rush was actually Steve's REAL dad and adopted Dad.)

She just gets hotter and hotter with each passing scene and I feel strange checking her out.

I know she's legal in NJ, NY, and even in "Claire's" TX, but it just feels weird. Of course, that said, I will still imagine everything I would love to do to her everytime she bends over in those tight jeans or her shirts that allow you to see down them, but I'll feel a little funny while doing so.

I'm a little off as far as Hiro's story line is concerned. What's the whole gimmick with the sword? Why would he lose his powers all-of-a-sudden? Was there an event that I missed that would cause him to lose them? And now we find that George Takei is his father. They've got to start pulling this stuff together. It's getting way too fragmented.

I think I'm falling on the side of Claude being Claire's father. He seems to have worked with people before helping them control their abilities, as that is basically what he is offering Peter. My guess is he worked for HRG, then left unamicably (or inamicably if you prefer) and has been in hiding for the past however long. That's why he was so pissed and aggressive when Peter could see him. There's a new clip involving Hana and Ted up on the site, and a new comic as well.

You get the vibe that Nathan has been aware of his situation a lot longer than Peter, like when he flew away from HRG and the Haitian Sensation, double check the look on his face when he lands by the diner; he looks happy like he's doing something enjoyable that he doesn't get to do very much. Plus he was able to fly when Peter jumped off the building way back when. Double plus, from what the Haitian Sensation told Claire, and maybe I'm remembering this incorrectly, but I got that impression that both Claire's mother and father had worked for HRG. Counter to that, however, is the fact that there didn't seem to be any recognition or acknowledgement between the three of them (Nathan, HRG, and L'Ouverture) when they met. Ohhhhhh, wait, a vital piece of information ... maybe. WHat I put up there wasn't actually the body of the email. All the email had was a link to the website www.samantha48616e6.com which is where all that shit was written. I've tried using that name and those numbers in every configuration I could think of to access Bennet's other two files. I'm assuming they're Parkman and Sprague. I've used it with Bennet's username, and then MP and TS for Matt Parkman and Theodore Sprague, both with and without samantha in the password. I've tried using smantha as the username and then just the numbers with either TS or MP for the passwords. I even Googled samantha48616e61, with and without spaces and got nothing. Maybe it;s just a red herring.

Sylar’s attack at Union Wells High School led Parkman and Agent Hanson to Odessa, Texas where they continued their investigation, during which Parkman became suspicious of my activities.
I think I may be too into this show. I almost blew a load in my pants with Peter vs. HRG and the Haitian Sensation on the rooftop. And then it got better. Holy shit. I mean, HOOOOO-LEEEEE SHIT! The best 42:50 I've seen on television in a while. I was crying at parts (HRG and Claire in the hospital and Ando's goodbye. By the way, and they drop fucking Stan Lee on you right there?!?!?) and there were several more times that I almost messed myself, like when they started with the long profile shots of Claire. Are they fucking kidding with those boots? At 39:50 (Ted and Parkman show up at the Bennets'.) I was on my feet. 41:06 (Peter screams "DON"T LIE TO ME!" and sends Isaac flying across the room in a psychokinetic rage.) I started jumping for the remainder of the fight, making my way backwards across the room saying, "Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod." 42:06 (Isaac shoots Simone.) I crouched in the corner of the room opposite my monitor and didn't breathe for the 44 seconds that remained in the show.

My cat's starting to get worried.

Invisible man Claude (Eccleston, left, with Ventimiglia) is one of three new characters we'll meet when Heroes returns

Jeff Jensen, an EW senior writer, has been despondent since the cancellation of ''Twin Peaks''

The mutants-a-poppin' world of Heroes is about to get much bigger. British actor Christopher Eccleston joins the cast when the NBC hit returns from winter hiatus on Jan. 22; he's playing Claude, an invisible man who haunts the streets of New York. (In case you film buffs were wondering: Yes, the character is named after Claude Rains, star of 1933's The Invisible Man.) According to creator Tim Kring, Eccleston's mystery man will ''introduce a large element of mythology to the show. You're about to learn that there was a whole previous generation of heroes and that they had adventures of their own.'' A flashback episode slated for late February will explain much of their history, says Kring, and more older heroes will be revealed as the series progresses.

Also factoring into the mix are two supporting players who'll see much bigger action this spring: the mind-erasing ''Haitian'' (Jimmy Jean-Louis) and ''Radioactive Man'' Ted Sprague (Matthew John Armstrong). Jean-Louis' character — who works for Horn Rimmed Glasses — finally spoke in December's winter finale. He'll reveal a mysterious agenda of his own when he starts spilling family secrets to Claire. Says Jean-Louis, ''It's nice to finally have a voice and know I'll be using it often.'' (Unresolved riddle: Why so mum in the first place?) As for Armstrong, he's looking forward to getting recognized for a part he's actually playing; seems the scruffy-faced Sprague has gotten him confused with a certain advertising icon. ''For the record,'' he says, ''I am not the Geico caveman.'' He's also not the Spoiler Guy, either. ''I'm terrified of saying too much,'' says Armstrong. ''I'd like to have this job for a while!''

Anglophiles may recognize Eccleston from his role in the BBC series Cracker and his year-long tour of duty as England's fabled sci-fi hero Dr. Who. He says he's glad to be playing a (relatively) good guy on this side of the Atlantic, too. ''European actors tend to be offered villains in American film and TV. Claude is not, and that was important to me.'' Eccleston jokes that there is one downside to his role, however: ''The most difficult thing about being invisible is reporting to set and being completely ignored.''

WHO'S WHO

Claude
Christopher Eccleston
Prickly, Faginesque vagabond who'll use tough love on Peter the Super Sponge.

The Haitian
Jimmy Jean-Louis
HRG's henchman gets involved in Claire's rocky home life; Jean-Louis hints at the Haitian's spiritual side.

Sprague
Matthew John Armstrong
So radioactive he killed his

gotta say best episode of the whole series. Looks like the "save the cheerleader, save the world" stuff took effect today. without Clair, they would not have been able to capture radioactive man. great stuff.. gotta love the flashbacks. really awesome that they nactually answered stuff. It's possible that that's what the picture is of; not all of them are necessarily catastrophic events. I mean, I'm still pretty sure that Isaac's Hiro versus the dinosaur picture came true as Hiro was escaping the museum with what he thought was the sword.

according to the post they are going to at least try to tie up a lot of loose ends & not do that big cliffhanger ending thing that everyone else does. they know that viewers hate it & they want to be able to start fresh new storylines next season.

'HEROES' SPRING BREAK

SKETCHING OUT SEASON TWO OF UNLIKELY HIT SERIES

By ADAM BUCKMAN

March 5, 2007 -- THE creator of "Heroes" is facing a cliffhanger of his own that will leave him in suspense for six weeks.

The question: Will his red-hot NBC series take a hit in the ratings after it disappears for six consecutive Mondays and then returns to face off against one of prime-time's biggest powerhouses, ABC's "Dancing with the Stars"?

Tim Kring admits he's concerned.

"We're living in a time with a very fickle audience that can get swayed by anything shiny and new," he said on the phone from L.A. on Friday. "While we are off, ABC is going to have 'Dancing with the Stars' on, and I can't imagine that it won't take a bit of a bite out of us."

For the second time this season, "Heroes" is taking a six-week rest following tonight's episode (9 p.m. on Ch. 4). It's the usual problem: The network TV season is 37 weeks long and "Heroes" has only 23 episodes. Five episodes will be left when "Heroes" returns April 23.

In the meantime, ABC is bringing "Dancing with the Stars" to Monday nights starting March 19 (8-10 p.m.).

Only in its first season, "Heroes" - the comic book-style series about ordinary people who discover they have extraordinary powers - is the brightest spot on NBC's lineup, averaging more than 14.5 million viewers each week.

Kring is hoping tonight's cliffhanger episode - in which at least one character will be killed when the evil Sylar (Zachary Quinto) harvests his or her brain - will be so explosive that the show's fans will forgive its hiatus and flock back to the show when it returns.

"We've kind of ratcheted things up to a kind of fever pitch at this point, so we're hoping that the momentum of the stories will draw people back after the six-week break," Kring said.

Indeed, last week's episode, in which plucky Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere), the all-American Texas cheerleader with the power to heal immediately following the worst traumas, reached an understanding with her father (Jack Coleman), was one of the finest yet for a show whose quality has not wavered since its premiere last fall.

In fact, Claire has emerged as arguably the most popular character on "Heroes" due in large part to Panettiere, who is, at the tender age of 17, the freshest new face on TV this season. And that can present a challenge for a show that was launched with an ensemble cast that purposely contained no headlining stars.

"I did not want a cast that had people that you really recognized," Kring explained, "because the premise of the show was that these were ordinary people like you or like me."

However, if a character such as Claire breaks away from the pack of "equals," Kring is willing to make adjustments while being careful not to diminish the importance of others.

"It's a very organic process running a show," he said. "You go where the heat is."

Kring said he and his writers have already started outlining the next season of "Heroes," even as they put the finishing touches on this season's final episode.

And on that score, there's good news for viewers who don't appreciate season-ending c

Last nights episdoe pissed me off for a few reasons. First, Samone really being dead wasn't that shocking to me. Next, the entire Saresh not killing Sylar when he had the chance really pissed me off, he could have killed him and then taken the spinal tap, or done it while he was still knocked out, or never have let him wake back up again. I know, its supposed to be more dramatic to have a confrontation, but I always hate when people are that stupid. Thirdly, Hiro finally comes back and regains his powers only to teleport out of the entire situation, thanks for nothing assholes! Fourthly, Niki's back. I know that most of things are leading up to something good in the next few episodes, and that brings me to my final grievance. They just got back from a break and now there going on another one and leaving us to remember that crappy episode for a month and a half. If there was another episode coming up in a week, I would ignore these things, but there isn't, so I can't.

I finally got a job, so I've been away for a bit, but that episode... and the stupid break this show's going on made me come back to talk to my favorite heroes fans.

Anyways, that episode was cool, but the new girl's shape shifting powers are paired with a cheesy affect. After seeing Xmen having a lousy affect just doesn't cut it... her power adds another one of those "you can never be sure what you're seeing is what you're seeing" aspects to the show that drive me crazy, but are interesting.

The scene where Mohinder has Sylar knocked out and then has one of those "and now I will... KILL... you..." chats made me long for scenes like the ending of Enemy at the Gates (so... you finally fou... BLAM). That's just a cookie cutter way for a writer to have a near miss with the enemy. How did he turn off the IV when the IV was stopping him from turning off the IV? Bizaro.

The scar thing is interesting. If Peter's future scar is from Sylar (or anything else for that matter) than it will display the limitations of his absorbed powers. If he can only heal a percentage of the damage he takes or is left with permanent damage (aka a scar) then the OTHER powers he has absorbed have limitations as well.... but he can become completely invisible at any time... AND the fight with Isaac seemed to be a demonstration of how well he is learning to use the powers he has absorbed... BUT... bla bla bla... I love this show.

I don't like anything to do with Nikki/Jessica. The husband's powers are really not being used at all for anything that brings any substance to the show and Nikki/Jessica has had a ton of air time to bring so little to the main driving story line. Maybe it IS bringing something down the road, but it's a ton of buildup for someone who has a split personality with super strength and a bad attitude. I'd expect this of someone with Peter's power, but Nikki/Jessica just doesn't seem to need so much time.

Miccah is cool, he knows his mom and dad both have powers (aka secrets). Is that because he's "Digital Slyar"? I still think that if you needed to make an Earth 2 Sylar out of the characters in the show it would be Peter and Miccah, but they haven't even met yet and Miccah does NOTHING episode after episode.

It seemed they were hinting to Sylar EATING brains! WTF is that? If that's really how he does it then I'm dissapointed.

But most of all I'm dissapointed because the stupid show I look forward to all week is off the air for what? 5 weeks? Let's all hope they come back with a bang because it's frustrating as hell to have to wait so long.... AGAIN!

And I've missed posting here. I hope to come back more often... and more importantly... to listen to more Ron and Fez seeing as i've been so busy that I haven't caught them for more than a few minutes a week.

New comic is up. The comic itself is actually kinda shitty, to be honest -- a little cliche, but the main idea of it is cool, so what the fuck.

Also, I heard a terrible rumor, no source was given to me and I haven't heard anything about this anywhere so I;m 99% sure it's bullshit, but my friend said that she had heard or read somewhere that the next season is going to be an all-new cast, new heroes, and new stories of them discovering their powers. And each successive season the same; like volumes, if you will, in a comic series.

If it's true, and I cannot imagine it is, it's a horrendous idea. It will kill the show. Not creatively, necessarily, I see no reason why the quality would suffer, but commercially it's suicide. People are invested in these characters, no one will give them up and be prepared to buy into new ones. I can't see NBC allowing it. I mean, they've gotten a little more creative and "outside the box" (ugh, sorry) with their programming, but I can't see anyone up high approving of this.

Something just occured to me: if Jessica/Niki's split personality disorder is a power, which doesn't really make sense to me to begin with, what's going to happen when she bumps into Peter? Will he just inherit her super strength? Or will he develop a dark side....one so sinister.....so evil.....that it will eventually consume him.....forcing the other heroes to band together to stop evil Peter, or Retep as I like call him, in an upcoming season.
I'm probably way off but she has to have some purpose to this show. She's certainly not there for her acting ability. Anyway it will be interesting to see what happens when she meets Peter.

I dicked around with all the colors and white is the least easy to read. It's not perfect, but it is light enough that if you say it's a spoiler anyone who doesn't want to see it can avoid it without accidentally reading it. Unfortunately, at this juncture in 2.0's existence it's the best we got.

we agree on something! i hate niki/ jessica.
this episode was pretty interesting. some stuff answered, but more questions as always. what powers does the mom have? is issac really dead? i know that he was setting himself up for it, but think how much money they can make off of "his" art. they shouldn't kill off the character. then again, that sketch book could contain absolutely anything. so his art could come into play next season as well.

Outside of the Niki/Jessica situation, Isaac was easily the weakest story and character on the show. Tim Kring has gone on record by saying that not all characters will carry over season-to-season, kind of like 24.

So is Heroes just taking some of the plot of "Watchmen"? (Hopefully this wasn't already talked about)
Linderman was on a team of heroes back in the day, some went bad. Sounds like Peter/Nathan's Mom was on the team.
Linderman is going to take advantage of Peter blowing up NY to bring people together in the aftermath (Not exactly faking an alien invasion like in "Watchmen")

Just when it looked like Nathan was finally going to understand and be a good guy, the previews for next week show him to be an ass who is drunk with power.
Can anyone explain what the fuck Peter was trying to do when he was invisible and got hit in the head with that glass shard? It was obvious what Sylar was planning, so why not move out of the way?

Doc - I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing; they are pulling the 'unification of the human race' premise directly from "Watchmen." I almost hope somebody on the show brings it up.
King - I think Peter was trying to block for Mohindar, but that may just be wishful thinking. I would like to hope that he wasn't just standing around, especially with his back turned to Sylar.
Also, why the F@#% didn't Mohindar KILL Sylar when he was down! What a dumbass!

I also was thinking when i saw him go invisible - he will sneak around behind him...and then some 5 seconds later when the shards of glass when flying and he was right in front of him...i thought - come on!
But what baffles me more - this is the 3rd time so far this season, that SOMEONE woke or was awake when Sylar was asleep or incapacitated in there presence - AND NO ONE TAKES A KNIFE AND CUTS HIS FREAKIN HEAD OFF. This is such a no brainer its insulting. Like in horror movies.
