I'm tacking my thoughts on the tail end of this mess.   While being here 5 years doesn't mean you get special treatment, there is no doubt that its much more personal.  Banning someone who's first posts are inflammatory is fine because there's obviously no point to it, but when you ban someone you are aware of and can reason to eliminates the point of banning them for 2 weeks.  At that point if we can't act like adults and talk it out instead of a 2 week time out its gotten way too serious.  Its not that there being here for 5 years means they are better, its just that you should be able to talk to them personally rather simply ban them.    Why would you want people pissed at you for banning them for an arbitrary length of time?  The rules don't mean something just because they are there.   This is not meant to offend Reilly, this is more at Reeshy's treatment.  You are making it a lot more personal than it has to be.

She wasn't taking it seriously, she was calling in the spirit of the fun of all of this, and the humor in it all, not to bitch and whine. And Reillyluck, (and the other mods) I don't know you, and I don't know the board, so I am NOBODY to say anything, but hell, I guess the fun of message boards is that anyone can throw a nickel in. Please don't take this so seriously. Please give some leeway for the personalities of people who contribute to the show and the boards. It's their craziness that makes them so lovable and such a wonderful addition to teh show. Lightening up will make everybody happier. I mean, sure if something is actually disturbing the board, you have to react, but a RULES ARE RULES mentality takes half the fun out of this stuff. :( I assume the rules have some flexibility and don't REQUIRE you to ban everytime someone says something off color-- particularly in the Lounge Forum, which, is my understanding that its a place where the rules are a little more relaxed.

I'm not here to stir shit, I'm here cause I love the show and would like to get to know the other fans. If i'm way off base, and things really are that serious over here, I'll just sneak back to my rock over at the other board, and won't bug you guys here and see it as us just having different 'personalities'.
