You're the Sarah Palin of football. Just never wrong.

Well let's be honest that Seattle is a completely different team on the road and losing their TE is a huge problem being he's their best weapon in my mind. That changed the game immediately. Also, Hasselback is NOT a top level qb or even close. Come on man. I'd put another 10+ guys ahead of him including Philly's backup and starter so I really don't see where TS is coming from on this one.

I agree. The Bears are not that good! I think the Packers are the best team left in the playoffs and that including NE and Pitt! They had injuries all year but they are healthy now and have looked really good 2 straight games against the #1 and #3 seeds. I think they should win next week and win easily!

As for the line on this game. If you got the line at 10.5 and bought the half you pushed. If Sea showed up early in this game or didnt lose Carlson this would have been a different game and an easy cover maybe even a win! The Bears did not close this game out when they should have.

The order of teams I would like to win left at this point would be as follows:

2) the rest I personally can't stand (Pitt/Roth and their history, NE/BB and their AFC history & Chicago/Cutler and Martz)

Ive said this 100 times before, part of being a great QB is leading your team to victory. Stats dont mean dick to me if they arent accompanied with wins. Thats why right now Tom Brady is showing why Peyton Manning is not the best QB, in the league right now, let alone of all time, and not even in the Top 3. 9-10 in the playoffs, fucking please.

And Phillys has plenty of great QBs, but none I would put in the Top 20 of all time, and yes not winning a Super Bowl has alot to do with that.

If Aaron Rodgers doesnt win a Super Bowl he never gets his name mentioned with the likes of Brady, Brees, Rothlisberger or Manning. Sorry but thats the way I measure QBs. They are the general on the field. If they fight valiantly but constantly lose the battle, then they arent the best general. Sorry.

I consider him in the 2nd echelon of QBs right now. I guess the only reason I dont put Rodgers in that first tier is because he doesnt have the playoff wins and rings as the other guys in it, not because he doesnt have the talent. Hes definitely great, but I dont see Hasselbeck sucking as bad as everyone else. As an old man he did lead his team to victory over the champs and made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs with a mediocre team. I just dont put on the tier of QBs that are just getting better like Freeman or Stafford or QBs that just blow like Tavaris Jackson or Derreck Anderson.

Sorry.

I don't think Philly would have a top 20 guy even if Jaws won a title. Jurgenson and Van Broklin aren't even close regardless of old titles (Jurgenson's as a backup).

Also, I agree overall on ur rationale, but there are exceptions with guys making teams better that just don't stack up over an entire career. While I hold it against guys like Marino, I don't with guys like Archie Manning. There are plenty more, but I think you get my point. Yet think Jim Kelley, how much does this impact our vision of his career!? It would have done the same to Elway too.

exactly. the rest of the team and the coaching staff have lots to do with a QB's success! Stats are truly the best way to talk about how good a qb is. You cant use anything else because its what he did on the field. He cant control what the def does or how poorly a coaches decisions effect his wins or loses!

Similar to a pitcher in baseball. You cant use wins as the deciding factor because if his team doesnt hit he wont get any. His era, whip, k's etc is what tells you how good the pitcher is!

I think you go for it there because you might not have another chance. At least know what youre working with. If you get it you know a fg is what you need. But if you miss you now know td.

I hate Simms he seems to never know whats going on. He makes mistakes on everything and misses everything. He called grounding before on Brady when Brady threw the ball to woodhead on the ground. Only after seeing a replay did he see a player. I know that everyone makes these mistakes but he makes 10 or more a game. Its like he cant see the field!

Woodhead was lying down after being hit on the ground BEFORE Brady threw the ball.

GREAT heads up by Brady to keep that ball from being swatted out of his hands. Shows what a good QB he is.

What the fuck kind of drive is this? They've just been wasting time. Now if they fail on this drive, they have even less time to score twice!

Arg. What the fuck.

I don't know if this an amazing performance by the Jets defense or the complete lack of talent on offense for the Pats has finally caught up with them.

Eh, they were down 5, kick to cut to 4, jet fg makes it 7. Td ties it. Miss the 2 pointer and a fg makes pats get a td and make a 2 pointer. You just don't know how it will shake out and it was too early. It's not like they were down 16 or 24 and they knew they needed to make a few 2 pointers. Heck, they're down 10 now, had they failed their two try they'd be down 12 and need two td's.

Like when he claimed a Jet fell on the ball and it's theirs, only to see the replay later where he then critiques the Jet players for, "not falling on the ball". Idiot and turning into quite a NY homer in his coverage.

Do me a favor...explain to me how faking an injury on defense, which stops the clock, hurts the Patriots when it gives them time to organize a play instead of just doing a hurry up?

Really. I fail to see how it would benefit the Jets.

So the D isn't rushing around trying call a play? So that no one is caught out of position leading to a big play? So they can get the substitutions they want?

I don't think Revis was faking because he's too important to the D to sit on a 4th down, though.
