I LOVE Dave. I think he's just the funniest guy ever. I love his laugh, it cracks me up. I think it's endearing how tries to get Ron to not talk trash about Casey Elan about their romantic life. He seems to be a real sweetheart in that area. I think the show wouldn't be as good without him on it and his wonderful, infectious laugh.

I laugh my ASS off at him when he goes off on people. He's just too damn funny. I think if you have that much of a problem with him getting too much air time, then you should tune out because he's there to stay or else Ronnie B would have had him off the show already. He's funny as hell and I'm glad he's on there.

I don't see it at all. Dave does agree with Ron on some stuff -- for instance they have somewhat similar taste in movies. Dave expresses his own (sometimes very odd) opinion enough that I don't think he's anywhere close to being a parrot.

Perhaps its the exact opposite. Perhaps you groveling to his defense is an effort to get some love shown your way by Dave. Perhaps these people, like myself, subscribed to this board for the first time because they have a show that they enjoy, but unfortunately ESD, especially as of late, has driven/inspired them to come here and post.

At least for me, ESDave is starting to make me yell at the radio these days. One of the reasons I joined the board to be honest.

He is like one of those little yippy dogs, he comes out from behind Ron’s legs long enough to take cheap shots at Earl to make himself feel superior, then goes and hides back behind his master (Ron).

It’s bad enough that he has the mentality of a 13 year old, is a chain-smoking alcoholic who acts out for attention, but to belittle other people just tees me off.

He gets all mightier than thou with the "Board Gossip" bit, personifying himself to be king of the internet universe, but when his favorite board isn’t getting the attention, he eats up airtime putting down every other site but FBA. Probably because he feels his self imposed "kewlguy" status threatened.

The guy doesn’t even have insurance, cant stop drinking, even for FEZ!. Just flat out refuses to make any sacrifices that might affect his imaginary "utopian" life he thinks he has. I agree, comedy/humor should not have restraints attached to its content. Listen or dont listen. That being said, his real life behavior mirroring the very definition of clueless degenerate who has managed to bounce about in life at everyone elses expense, and do so while being encouraged by people who are vicariously living through him, is sad.

The kid is many years past the "grow the $%#^ up " stage. But thats not the issue.
