Ronfez.net has been doing nothing but driving listeners away since its beginning. All it does is draw attention away from the show with stupid whores like effmeboobs and sweet melissa and faggots like sheepy and mikey d. They're NOT supposed to give back to the people who always came out to their events? They're not supposed to remember and respect all the NYC/DC fans that got them huge when they 1st showed up in each city?

Yes, Dave can run the board. Maybe not to perfection since that is not his first resposibility, but he has. What does a typical Assistant Producer do Mr. Radio Insider?
Help with show prep. Help with production. Sometimes work the phones.
And unlike many other Assistant Producers, Dave also gets a fair amount of air time. There have been more than a few members of this board who have been in studio, and see what goes on behind the scenes. Hell one of us was up there today. Dave is a go-to guy. I had to take care of something going to XM, and I called Dave before calling Earl.

Is your experience in the "Talk" genre of radio? If it is not, then your experiences in radio probably aren't all that helpful.

Dave can run a board. He has worked a couple of different radio jobs before this one. I've seen him run the board for the show in the "Fez" spot when Fez has been out. That whole bit about him not being able to run the board was really a matter of him not being able to find certain bits in the dilette (which used Earl's organziational method) a few months after he started.

He can cut up a spot. He's done it before just fine. Does he do it often? Probably not. The Ron & Fez Show has kind of moved away from that since they first started on XM.

What else does a producer do? Among other things, they ome up with ideas and stunts for the air. Also they get a handle on all of the news stories of the day, collect all listener submitted bits, organize all events and products that need to be plugged, keep abreast of the message boards to see what is going on, deal with bookers, book guests, collect relevant audio that might be discussed on the show, and list all of this information on sheets that R&F have in front of them so they can go to them at any time. They also field requests and questions from listeners, the station, promotions, etc and are involved in the coordination and planning of show-related events. Then there are all of the things that need to be attended to during the show. Running bits, song bumpers, getting people on the phone when the conversation is relevant to them. Frankly, that's off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more things I'm not thinking of. I can't say which of these things Dave does and doesn't do, but on top of that, he's an on-air personality.

Is that enough for you? Okay Mr. 20 years in radio -- what is it that Dave isn't doing that he should be doing.
