FiOS is definitely top of the food chain.

In addition to the HD and slightly more reasonable pricing, and less technical problems, and faster internet if you opt for that...in the Philly market, Comcast owns the local TV rights to all the Philadelphia sports franchises except the Eagles (obviously), but Verizon sued for the right to carry them, so you get most of the baseball, basketball and hockey games as well.
