1.. Crawford is reaching his 30s. His main attribute is his speed. Thats going to start to decline. He does not have the power nor hitting ability to survive that.

2. Werth hits in a great hitters park. I'd love to have him, but this is not a no brainer like Tex. We won't regret not getting him for years to come like Bos does with Tex.

For what? the only "weakness" or "need" this team has if you can call it that is pitching, and the Yankees are going to have a rotation of CC-AJ-Phil-Javy until at least through 2011.

His #s and longevity puts him over the top. You are lucky to get 5 dominant years from a closer. Mo has given them 14.

You can compare Jeters years with his counterparts through the years.

Here's my transcript of the rant, which doesn't do justice to Kay's tone, which was venomous, to put it mildlly:

I just got done watching the game (cause I felt like being a loser and going to the gym and tivoing a Yankees game on my friday night) and I'm really not that upset about tonights loss. AJ didnt pitch too terribly, the few mistakes he made he paid for. You just can't leave fastballs up over the plate for a team like Toronto, he did and they took advantage.

One thing that really stuck out for me was in the 1st inning Granderson made a nice catch against the wall. Gardner doesn't make that play, I just dont see him as athletic enough as a defender to do that. It's good to have Curtis back in that lineup.
