That's the religious wing of the GOP and the corporate wing of the GOP: they both want some form of fascism with the religious folk wanting the government to put the populace under the jackboot of the Bible and the latter wanting the same, but with the jackboot of corporations on the government as well.

No one, that's sort of the point of the progressive movement. No one above the law, no one below it and all men created equal regardless of race, creed or color along with jus soli and those rights extending toward anyone regardless of citizenship. The far left has been historically quite anti-fascist.
Since that's not the answer you wanted, though, I'll go with spoon's suggestion of illegal immigrants.

The far left progressive movement wants the state in control. Are all men created equal with an elite political class and seizing private property rights for the collective. Stalin really preached equality while living a lavish lifestyle while sendimg millions to the gulags
Illegal aliens are above the law in a way. They get to feed off the taxpayer with entitlements and their anchor babies are American citizens in which violates the 14th amendment as it was meant for children of freed slaves.

Stalin wasn't far left, though. He just bandied about Marxism. Trotsky and the Left Opposition was, well, the left opposition to Stalinism. The leaders living a lavish lifestyle is in direct contradiction to the ideals of Marxism and the far left, though, anarcho-socialism is to the left of the progressive movement in and of itself. That's like comparing Obama to Mussolini -- both are right wing politicians, but one is much farther to the right than the other.
Also outside of Italy, state controlled corporations weren't a featured part of fascism. Germany, Spain and elsewhere favored something of a laissez-faire approach. Mussolini was the one who thought corporations were getting out of control and being exploitative.

I'll just let you skip past Kolkhoz to whatever argument you actually want to have, which I'm guessing is Lysenkoism. My money is on the media trying to push a narrative next week about R&D and "brain drain" due to defense budget cuts, which will invariably cause Rush to start talking Lysenkoism and pseudosciences.

Fuck it. Boehner should grow a pair and not allow funding this new bureaucracy.
They adjourn every three days for less than a minute. (while you ranted about Obama's Vac. from which he signed this bill). And how on earth could Boehner defund this when it's attached to the military budget?

The answer I wanted is the intellectually honest answer you would give. What people are willing to avoid in their beliefs is far more telling than what they choose to embrace. For example, at the core of my moral system is the belief that no man should have his boot on any other's throat, and I would tell you that is PRECISELY the notion behind capitalism. Note that this not the Corporatism we have today, they are very different things.
Let me ask you this, let's say for the sake of the argument I advocate true Capitalism and you advocate true Socialism. At it's core Socialism implies that there is a interdependence that may or may not be chosen among men. Capitalism implies a partial dependence which must be chosen. Which system is more likely to involve jackboots? Once you hit that answer, how about this one, which system actually HAS involved jackboots?

From 1956 to the early 1980s, the Communist Party of China and their Maoist or ‘anti-revisionist’ adherents around the world often described the Soviet Union as state-capitalist, essentially using the accepted Marxist definition, albeit on a different basis and in reference to a different span of time from either the Trotskyists or the left-communists. Specifically, the Maoists and their descendants use the term state capitalism as part of their description of the style and politics of Nikita Khrushchev and his successors, as well as to similar leaders and policies in other self-styled ‘socialist’ states.[27] This was involved in the ideological Sino-Soviet Split. After Mao's death, amidst the supporters of the Cultural Revolution and the exploits of the 'Gang of Four', most extended the state capitalist formulation to China itself, and ceased to support the Communist Party of China, which likewise distanced itself from these former fraternal groups. The related theory of Hoxhaism was developed in 1978, largely by Albaniam president Enver Hoxha, who insisted that Mao himself had pursued state capitalist and revisionist economic policies.[28] Most current Communist groups descended from the Maoist ideological tradition still adopt the description of both China and the Soviet Union as being ‘state-capitalist’ from a certain point in their history onwards—most commonly, the Soviet Union from 1956 to its collapse in 1991, and China from 1976 to the present. Maoists and ‘anti-revisionists’ also sometimes use the term ‘Social-imperialism’ to describe socialist states that they consider to be actually capitalist in essence—their phrase, "socialist in words, imperialist in deeds" denotes this.

Capitalism implies partial dependence? At what point in history has that ever been true? The East India Company or VOC certainly weren't allowing Indians to choose whether or not to be involved, they were either killed or put into service as sepoys.
You have a deeply, deeply flawed sense of capitalism. Open up a history book sometimes and realize it's every bit as evil as the caricature of socialism is portrayed. At least with socialism, you're in it with your neighbor instead of a potential victim. I'd rather interdependence with them over being killed or forced into indentured servitude because I stand in the way of profit. Maybe that's what you're into because you've been coerced from birth without knowing it but I definitely think there's a better way in which absolute power isn't given to "job creators" simply because they have enough money to create one of the biggest lies.

Colbert has been doing a great job tearing it apart.
A SuperPAC can talk whatever they want about a candidate, but they're not allowed to coordinate directly with the candidate. They also need to disclose everyone who donates money (no limit to the donations). However, you can also create something called a 501(c)(4) which allows you to accept unlimited donations, only you don't have to disclose the people donating or the amount they're donating. That 501(c)(4) can then donate unlimited amounts to the SuperPAC, which would only disclose the name of the 501(c)(4) as the donator.
I think they used to call it money laundering, but now it's just politics.

The constitution doesn't endow people or corporations with rights. Rights exist inherently. The constitution limits the power of government. "Congress shall make no law..."
But for a moment, let's say the 1st amendment shouldn't apply to corporations. If the 1st doesn't, should the 4th? Should the government be allowed to storm into an office building and seize computers without a warrant?

Does the 5th amendment apply to corporations? Can a corporation be subpoenaed to appear before a jury? If so, what does a corporation look like? How will it be able to swear to testify truthfully? Will a corporation be able to swear to God, or does God not recognize corporations as people? If the latter is true, how can we know a corporation to be testifying truthfully?

Yes, a corporation can be subpoenaed. The custodian of record is sworn in and can be compelled to produce records that incriminate themselves.
This case presents the question whether the custodian of corporate records may resist a subpoena for such records on the ground that the act of production would incriminate him in violation of the Fifth Amendment. We conclude that he may not.

That relates to the custodian of records; not whether or not the actual corporation can choose not to testify. Because a corporation isn't a physical thing that can be put on the stand, since corporations aren't people.
Sort of like how a corporation isn't require to register for the draft, and that they already have first amendment rights through their shareholders, and corporations can't vote, and a lot of other things. It's even more dubious of a decision than Roe v Wade (which was a shit interpretation, and Casey v Planned Parenthood was so much more sound)

You don't think so? Corporations are already heavily involved in laws and NDAA/SOPA/Patriot Act were all likely written by corporations. The immigration law in Arizona was specifically written by a lobbyist group for private prison corporations so it isn't a stretch to believe that at the highest level, corporations are writing laws for their puppets to present to Congress.

The PLA navy isn't all that; it's mostly old Russian designs, inferior classes and a handful of modern designs. They're greenwater at best. Also, you should say "carrier" since they only operate one. The Italian navy has more than them, and even if they lack submarines carrying ballistic missiles they still have a better ability to project power. China is, at best, a regional power. Their SSBNs are pretty easily tracked by the US and they haven't even laid a keel for a modern one yet. Same goes for their troops; China doesn't have the ability to project any power nor control airspace against a first world nation. They're basically there to be the swinging dick in the region and they don't particularly care about anything more than that.
You really do write as if corporations are giant creatures that live under the ground.
My entire point is that they aren't giant creatures that live under the ground, just a bunch of greedy shareholders who have enough money to buy whatever legal protection they desire from the US government.

A primary isn't about peace, its about figuring out who can stand for the party in the general.
So far the GOP has had three states, with three different winners. Let's go back to 1988 for a similar problem, but for the Democrats: Iowa went to Gephardt, New Hampshire went to Dukakis, South Carolina went to Jackson.

He made 21MM from cap gains
3MM went to taxes
3MM for charity, Im not sure if that includes for tithing, does the Mormon church require that?
Just was wondering what amount would be his fair share?

I think the required tithe is somewhere around Catholic levels but considering Romney was a bishop and such, you can be fairly certain he was donating his required amount.
His fair share should be what every other American pays on income if they were making $20 a year, which is probably somewhere around 35-40%
Simply because it is from capital gains doesn't change the fact that it is income.

So if people are given extra money, they shouldn't be taxed? Are raises tax-exempt?
Furthermore, can people write-off lost income as people write off investment losses? Romney gets to do that yet the rest of America who works for an honest living isn't able to write-off lost wages or pay cuts.

An investment is a risk that is taken.
Did Romney just steal his money? How is it that he didnt make an honest living?
How about this scenario
Theres a 100 million powerball jackpot that you win. The annuitized cash value is 75million, You decide to take the cash value. Its taxed on a federal level at 25%, Dpending which state youre in theres a state tax. Some have none. If your states is 6% That means you paid about 23 million in taxes. If you decide not to work anymore and live off cap gains, dividends, profits from selling property, youre saying thats not honest?
What is a fair share? Millions of dollars have been paid out to the IRS. While its not income from a salary, its still paying for the massive welfare/police/military state.
An investment is a risk that is taken.
yes, but you can also write off losses with that risk which significantly alters how much risk is actually taken
Did Romney just steal his money? How is it that he didnt make an honest living?
Dismantling companies and sending jobs overseas for a quick buck is hardly an honest living. You might as well call street hustling an honest living.

I'm not saying you should be required to work and take a salary, just don't kid yourself that it's an honest living eating junk food on your couch like some lazy illegal immigrant.
Also with regards to charity; donating to churches can cause ideological issues. Such as supporting child rapists (LDS, Catholics) supporting backwards, third world style views toward sex (LDS, Catholics, Protestants) supporting anti-civil rights agendas (LDS, Catholics, Protestants) or pro-illegal immigration (Catholics, LDS)
With that in mind, who in their right mind would donate to any church? All they're doing it for is to make it look appealing to voters or maybe get some building named after them. Most of that money gets sopped up in "overhead" and very little goes toward those that need it. If you gave a shit about charity, you'd be donating to MSF, Red Cross/Crescent/Crystal or any other number of NGOs instead of a bunch of serial kid fuckers or fat televangelists. It's like donating money to the PRC or something because one time Mao attended a rodeo, and you love rodeos.

While its not working on an assembly line or at a desk, it might be lazy but not dishonest. The Hilton sisters happened to be born to wealth. You can argue that getting 100k for showing up at a club isnt hard work but its not dishonest

On more than one occasion, the president has cut personal checks to struggling Americans who've written to the White House, according to an excerpt from a new book by Washington Post reporter Eli Saslow about the ten letters the president reads every day.
"It's not something I should advertise, but it has happened," the president told Saslow.

He said the rest of the estimated 11 million should be given access to a guest-worker program.
“With most of them? I would urge them to get a guest-worker permit,” he said, calling for a substantial rewrite of immigration laws that would cancel existing penalties and instead let illegal immigrants stay.
But his campaign said it was unclear whether at the end of that guest-worker period the immigrants would be allowed to stay and gain citizenship, essentially jumping the legal immigration line, or whether they would be required to return home.
I've said we should grant guest-worker status to immigrants like they do in the Middle East. The problem is figuring out sponsorship and oversight.

The funny thing is, Mitt's father was a much different man overall too. He not only dismantled and outsourced, he hid his money in off-shore accounts, including with banks that were in TONS of trouble like USB versus even having his money in the US. He has not love lost for the US, it's all about his pockets and rules/laws/people and the impact on regular people means nothing to him. I don't think that's a good equation for a man that literally brings nothing to the table other than a history of fucking his fellow americans by sweeping in on wounded companies and destroying them all for a buck.
Great point on the doing nothing different than a welfare queen yet making millions, but writing off losses doesn't make the risk go away. You just pay less taxes, you don't even come close to recouping your losses.

Did Obama gain 200 lbs and bleach his skin?
Gingrich sounded like him when he accused Romney of being anti-immigrant when the fucking topic is what to do with the illegal alien problem. Mitt was right. Self deportation thru attrition and enforcement, take down the bird feeder
I suppose you came up with that one yourself too?! It's awesome you try to hide you literally get all your fuel from the same shit spots we all know you do.
Can we hear more powerball scenarios compared to aspca/salv army vols please!? It's beyond funny at this point!

The American electorate has been dumbed down to be gullible enough to believe that Obama was the cure to the nations problems and sold a bill of goods which led to empty promises.
The so called conservative opposition front runners are big government Republicans who cant wait to start another war, and have big gov't to suit their needs
We are fucked either way
Not 'so called' they all are, very much so. With the tax codes they want put in place (to the rich) along with promised budget slashes. The only way to support it would be to cut everything else by half. (other than the big 3)

Why do illegals come here? For work welfare and instant citizenship for their anchor babies.
Take away the incentives, make life so difficult for them by not having those magnets &they dont have these opportunities boom!! They leave. or they all scatter to California.

That's complete bullshit, you pay on what you make, not your initial investment.
Whos arguing that? Im saying the money earned to invest was already taxed

yah great, but the NEW money earned is what's taxed, not the initial investment so it's INCOME overall. just as if you bought a business that nets you money, you pay tax on those earnings, one should pay at normal levels here with their market net gains. instead, people are paying way less and you claim it's double taxed which it's not

If you're here and dont speak the language, how are you supposed to understand what those documents mean.
English is a requirement for naturalization.

God knows there are clearly no way to find things in another language these days, much less translate anything right?
As for naturalization, it is a process, not some instantaneous event.

Government forms, applications, voting pamphlets should not be in dozens of languages. Its costly, redundant and should only be in English.
Speak whatever language you want but if you want to participate in the democratic process there should be an understanding of English
Same thing for running for office

Youre the cheap hack spewing tired lines of racist.
As usual you throw that line out when you cant even make an informed comment.
If someone is opposed to illegal immigration you have that cheap notion that "THEY HATE MEXICANS"
People like you are the dime a dozen kind. You would be welcomed with open arms in Mecha, and La Raza.
People like you are the cheap hacks. Calling anyone that disagrees with you a racist. So much for the open minded type to claim to be
When you cant break the argument you result to namecalling. Your kind loves to do that.

Theres an article of Mitt leading the Latino vote in Florida. Amazing how they love to put all People with Spanish last names in 1 group.
All Latinos arent the same. There are physcial and cultural differences btwn people from Latin American countries. Guatemalans are totally different from Cubans in size and appearance. Colombians have art and music different from Mexicans.
They media loves to just put all Latinos in one conglomerate.
