Gingrich's campaign has put out a short film accusing Romney of medicare fraud, and it will be airing in Florida during this weekend.
The same state that voted in Gov. Uncle Fester who himself trumped the medicare fraud that was the record supposedly set by Romney.

Though I want Newt to stick around for teh lulz, I'm a little relieved that his campaign seems to be going down.
I mean, I don't like Romney, I think he's a scumbag and would be an awful President, but he's merely be a shitty President. And, really, he wouldn't be advocating that many positions that are radically different from Obama's.
A Gingrich presidency, on other hand, would be a clusterfuck of apocalyptic proportions. It's scary that this psychopathic piece of shit has gotten this far. I don't see how anyone could seriously believe he should be President.

How do you translate Obama into Spanish?
Saves money and you need to be a citizen in order to vote requirements for citizenship is English
A) because of Jim Crow laws and other voter suppression laws, a lot of states aren't allowed to change their ballots. Thankfully those laws are so ingrained that not even psycho white supremacists can't even get them changed.
B) There's no requirement for anyone to speak English since America is a country of immigrants. Apart from Native Americans, no one can lay claim to being a "true" American. So unless we switch to an Algonquian ballot, I don't see much of a point in trying to prove how "American" anyone is.
C) Maybe if they do pull this off, we can go to a paper bag test to determine voter eligibility.

Our constitution and declaration were written in English. Official business of the federal gov't is in English. Again in order to vote you need to be a citizen. An understanding of english is needed to pass a citizenship test. If we have multi language ballots it only balkanizes the country. No one said that other languages cant be spoken. I think its good to learn another language. I speak Italian and Spanish fluently
Actually the 1st Americans were from Europe, they were here thousands of years before Asians crossed the land bridge in Alaska
And another thing. Repeal the 17th amendment and allow state legislatures to vote for US Senators

Millions of immigrants were able to vote without multilingual ballots. Also since citizenship is a long process the person is required to learn it in order to become one.
forcing state and local governments to print foreign language ballots for citizens who are already required to read and understand English is both redundant and wasteful.

Apparently you don't necessarily have to speak English to become a citizen:
What if I cannot meet the English or civics requirements?
Certain applicants, because of age and time as a permanent resident; or others because of a disability, have different English and civics requirements.
Age — There are three important exemptions for English testing based on an applicant’s
age and time as a Permanent Resident: (a) If you are over 50 years old and
have lived in the United States as a Permanent Resident for periods totaling at least 20 years, you do not have to take the English test. You do have to take the civics test in the
language of your choice.
(b) If you are over 55 years old and have lived in the United States as a Permanent Resident for periods totaling at least 15 years, you do not have to take the English test. You do have to take the civics test in the language of your choice.
(c) If you are over 65 years old and have lived in the United States as a Permanent Resident for periods totaling at least 20 years, you do not have to take the English test. You do have to take the civics test in the language of your choice.

That was a dumbshit moment on my part, I meant Medicaid which is designed toward people that live in poverty.
Wal-Mart increases Medicaid expenditures by an average of $898 per employee, according to a study presented on Friday at a conference held by the company to examine the impact of Wal-Mart on the U.S. economy, the New York Times reports (Greenhouse, New York Times, 11/5). Wal-Mart held the conference, called "An In-Depth Look at Wal-Mart and Society," to address criticism of wages, health benefits and workplace policies and "examine its effect on jobs, inflation and income growth," Bloomberg reports (Bloomberg, 11/4). Wal-Mart commissioned the independent economic research company Global Insight to manage the conference, conduct a study and solicit research (Joyce, Washington Post, 11/5). In total, nine studies were presented at the conference (Grant, USA Today, 11/7). For the Medicaid study, economist Michael Hicks, a professor at the Air Force Institute of Technology, examined the impact of Wal-Mart on government aid programs. According to the study, Medicaid expenditures increase by 1.5% for every 1% that the market share of Wal-Mart increases in a state. The study also found government cash aid to families decreases by 3.3% for every 1% that the market share of Wal-Mart increases in a state. The studies also indicate that Wal-Mart decreases wages in the communities in which it operates, Bloomberg reports (Bloomberg, 11/4). Wal-Mart does not increase expenditures for welfare or food stamps, the study found (New York Times, 11/5).

The whole country is terrible. Italy has state-backed racism regarding Roma. You're legally allowed to discriminate against them as far as they're concerned.

Most of the kids on Jersey Shore arent even Italian. Nobody looks at them and thinks (Thats real Italians right there). Besides most Italians I know dont care about the stereotypes. Why would we? Were proud of our heritage. And we know most of the stereotypes (not just with us but with most people) are based on majority of truth.
Yes, we eat pasta. And weve got the best food in the world. We love to eat. For a long time there was a HUGE Italian mafia presence in this country. Portraits like you see on The Sopranos are pretty spot on. We love homemade wine and Frank Sinatra and the importance of family. And yes for the most part Italian mothers think their sons walk on water and will do anything for them.
Why would we be ashamed of any these stereotypes?

In July 2009, Mitt Romney called on President Obama to require Americans to buy insurance as part of his health care plan, using “tax penalties” as a backstop — in other words, the individual mandate that Republicans virulently oppose.
In a USA Today op-ed that has since been removed but remains available on MittRomneyCentral.com, Romney urged Obama to look to his Massachusetts health care plan that contained the same policy, and touted it as effective.
There goes Romney's shot....

It's kind of hilarious how scared the Republican Party is of this fat pill-popping kid toucher:
Mitt Romney steered clear of the Rush Limbaugh controversy until Friday evening, even avoiding a CNN reporter earlier in the day, when he addressed the issue after an event in Cleveland.
“I'll just say this which is it’s not the language I would have used," Romney said. "I’m focusing on the issues I think are significant in the country today and that’s why I’m here talking about jobs and Ohio.”
After an event in Bellevue, Washington, CNN asked Romney for a comment on Limbaugh who called Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" after she testified before Congress on the importance of insurance coverage of contraception.
The former Massachusetts governor was within a few feet of CNN's camera when he was asked the question. But Romney walked by without comment.
Fucking pathetic.

Cut the false equivalence bullshit. Rush Limbaugh is the mouthpiece of the Republican party in a way that any of those other people you mentioned are not the mouthpiece of the Democratic party.
And this is far worse than anything any of those people say. Limbaugh first is absolutely lying about Fluke's testimony, and he is going out of his way to defame someone who is not a public figure. This is way worse than even Imus' "nappy headed hos" comment, and that got Imus fired.

Limbaugh apologizes. Well, not really.
www.rushlimbaugh.com
For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.
I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit? In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone's bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.
Again, he totally lies about Fluke's testimony. It was not about sexual behavior at all, and Fluke herself took pains to illustrate that often women need contraceptives for reasons not related to sex.

A few gems from this one but my favorite is:
Santorum, who once practiced law, hasn't said how he would draft a constitutional amendment - or how he could get one passed even while opinion polls suggest increasing public acceptance of same-sex marriage.
"Just because public opinion says something doesn't mean it's right," he said in the NBC interview. "I'm sure there were times in areas of this country when people said blacks were less than human."
It makes you wonder if he understands the irony of that sentence.

Limbaugh was wrong to call Fluke a slut but her testimony should be looked at and criticized. She claimed that there was hardly any access for her friend to get birth control. There are planned parenthoods everywhere, especially in the DC area. Also Georgetown is a Catholic institution run by Jesuits, there are other law schools that would have provided that coverage. I also don't recall any Democratic presidential campaign running like a total pussy from the camera when asked what he thought of Schultz or Letterman's comments like Romney did when he was first asked about Limbaugh.

Good job on brushing that one aside
actually that fit in perfectly with Obama's agenda, or anyone's agenda, because of the War on Drugs. Even Ron Paul would allow it to continue by letting states just run their own little war.

You mean Ron Paul doesn't think the presidency is a dictatorship?

all I am saying is he is pro-War on Drugs (since it's an anti-poor/anti-minority program) but he just wants it to happen at the state level, because something something freedom. Yet all these dopes go out and vote for him because he's going to legalize weed for them.

no, I'm just pointing out Ron Paul wants to re-direct the oppression of the poor to the states rather than leave it at the federal government. Sorry your messiah is some sundowners Christian fundie with a hardon for colloidal silver.

He knows he can count on the states to do it, too.
They suck so hard on federal teat because they won't pay their own way.
When it comes to gorging on federal teat, Texas leads the pack of red states that take more than they return in taxes per person.
Federal giveaways have created a dependent culture where blue states support red states.
Texas should flip back to a pay-more state after NASA starts closing things down, though, poverty is on the rise because of the glut of low paying jobs that are replacing the high education/high wage jobs in the area. That will likely cause more people to be eligible for medicaid and other assistance programs.

He rails about big government but this actually is big government. Who is his advisor? Is it too hard for him to comprehend that the best day to deal with this problem is to take away the incentives, the welfare, the job opportunities etc. Take the bird feeder down and they will leave.
