I hate to say it but I almost wish Anthony would need a liver or kidney transplant someday. I certainly dont wish him death but apparently he will never appreciate the problems with healthcare unless it affects him personally.
Its not just about providing coverage for everyone, its about making that coverage affordable and not bankrupting people who need serious care. Until he needs to spend a third of his fortune or more fighting to get well, he'll just keep screaming "SOCIALISM!!"
I can agree that rich people "deserve" better cars and houses but its fucked up to argue that rich people deserve to live more than poor people. His "survival of the richest" philosophy, or whatever he said today, is beyond mentally unstable. But I recognize that his point of view is technically the majority.

I think he needs to understand that a certain level of health-care is now considered a right. I love the argument that the government screws up everything. But, it always comes from the side that blindly defends the police and the military. Two government run organizations. Yes, the government fucks up and so does private industry.

I might be able to take his arguments if he wasn't always shrieking. SPEAK! He acts like a lunatic caller. Speak in a clear voice, what is with the shrill "I pay too much taxes!!!!'

I used to be he biggest o&a fan but his piece of hit has makes me hate this show everyday. I just listen to pass time until i can hear some ronnie B and Dave. Anthony doesn't understand the difference between free healthcare and affordable. it was weird because i went on a business trip today, i started at 8am and it was a fine show but they mentioned how they started the show talking about health care. I did my business stuff when ron & fez was on and recorded it on my inno. Thank god for the inno because that opening 2 hours of O&A were literally unlistenable. I listened to todays R&F on the ride back and whenever i checked back on the O&A replay they were still talking about it...i couldn't imagine having to listen to it all

Jim tries to keep Ant on track, but he doesn't have Ant's passion for the subjects so he isn't well versed. Ant has the passion, but he also lacks an understanding of the topics he screams about.

They have to show "cop love" otherwise Ant would be in jail for reckless driving by now.

I liked how they jumped on the side of cops without knowing the whole story yet, the same way they complain Sharpton does when something happens. Without reading the report and going by caller hearsay they decided the cop was right and the Professor was wrong.

Because I Love the shows on 202 (except Jason Ellis) and I know there are no other outlets for shows like this at this time. I don't understand why people listen and then type like lil' kids amongst each other, like its not real. These shows need the support of the fans and subscriber's to keep this Medium afloat. I havent listened nor posted about O&A in years, sir - nice try. I have no issues with the R&F show, in fact I listen to it daily - even on it's bad days, which we all have.

The only negativity I have towards people on the boards is towards the ones who pretty much ask for it - like you for example. Anyone who makes himelf out to look like an ass gets laughed at - thats always been the case and always will be. Sorry you disagree.

Why are you questioning how things are run on a board that which you don't own, nor run, nor have any say in what happens on it? If you're so concerned about the shows getting support from fan sites, why don't you do what so many others have tried - RUN YOUR OWN. You've got a domain (for now) so use it for more than a podcast of you reading the day's headlines. Make your own board and run it how you see fit. Stop trying to bully people, all it does it get you laughed at and banned.

I can't say I listen to O and A all that much. However, I do tune in from time to time during my commute to work. I don't even recall what the topic was, but it had something to do with black/rap culture. Beyond being able to stomach his fearful and moronic rants on the subject, I literally cringe when listening to his impression of a "black man". I like some of his other impressions; namely Tony Danza and Dice. But when he tries to sound "urban" it makes me disgusted to no end.

The issue I have is not based on politcal correctness but rather how unfunny it is. Not only is the voice dated and entirely ridiculous, but the comments associated are so hack and cliche. It baffles me how this guy can come off as really funny and smart at times and then just the opposite in the next segment.

since you have a black friend, I don't think you are the audience that Anthony is shooting for. He has clearly made a decision to join the Becks and Limbaughs as the voice of the opposition. I wish Moore had more (ewwww) time this morning. Anthony let him speak and agreed with him on some subjects. I am glad he didn't just rant.

Sidenote. Whenever Anthony talks about taxes, he complains that he has to pay taxes 4 times a year. Implying (I think) that everyone else only pays once a year. If I am not mistaken, most people pay either 52 or 26 times a year. When you file taxes, once a year, you are reconciling what you have paid and what you should have paid, but you have been paying all along.

Yes those of us Laypeople who don't have Millions too count File our Taxes once a year. The well-to-do, and better then us pay 4 times a year to allow thier team of Tax People enough opportunity to find little cheats to hold onto every penny.
