Well... I don't buy into a lot of political "conspiracy" shit, but I posted some stuff that is crazy locked-in with this DailyKos theory.

I haven't read the article becase Kos makes my skin fucking crawl, but I had a huge suspicion about this when she announced that she was pregnant, the baby came a month later, and she didn't seem to look pregnant.

I mean, did anyone SEE the picture that I posted from late February/early march in the McCain thread?

Interestingly enough, I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday who worked in the Alaskan state government up through Palin's first year as governor, and he thinks this is a terrible move on McCain's part. One of the main reasons he quit up there and moved away was how fed up he was with the rampant corruption on pretty much every significant level of state government up there for about 20 years now, with Palin being no exception. He also mentioned this pregnancy thing in passing before it showed up in the news, saying that at the time the word going around the state capital was, "of course it's the daughter's kid." We both just laughed it off as sleazy and ridiculous, but here we are. Obviously, this is total "I heard it from..." stuff, but he's got some pretty juicy info. He really think's McCain's people jumped into this without looking closely enough at who they were picking and plenty is gonna come out corruption-wise that's going to hurt them big time.

Interestingly enough, I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday who worked in the Alaskan state government up through Palin's first year as governor, and he thinks this is a terrible move on McCain's part. One of the main reasons he quit up there and moved away was how fed up he was with the rampant corruption on pretty much every significant level of state government up there for about 20 years now, with Palin being no exception. He also mentioned this pregnancy thing in passing before it showed up in the news, saying that at the time the word going around the state capital was, "of course it's the daughter's kid." We both just laughed it off as sleazy and ridiculous, but here we are. Obviously, this is total "I heard it from..." stuff, but he's got some pretty juicy info. He really think's McCain's people jumped into this without looking closely enough at who they were picking and plenty is gonna come out corruption-wise that's going to hurt them big time. Troopergate is going to be the big story. I have also read quite a few stories/political blogs that state Palin's husband seems to think he is the Governor's right hand man (sitting in on closed meetings, has all her e-mail correspondence cc-d to him, took it upon himself to talk to the head of the State Troopers in the Governor's office while she was out of town).
Wonder if this will go down as the most ugly of election seasons.
