i think it would take more than 1 year for a club bigger than everton to take a chance on him. And I dont think he would be quick to leave for offers he may get if they make the champions league, since he would then be managing champions league anyway. The only thing I would worry about is if he wanted to go to spain but i think he would have done that already.

Welcome. My disgust for my american teams (mets, knicks, devils, raiders) drove me here. None of my friends have gotten into BPL, but they all get into soccer during the world cup.

Arsenal - Great balanced team
Liverpool - All offense weak on defense
Everton - seem to dominate possession every game but not enough scoring

honestly, you shouldnt really hate Everton. I was reading some piece from a Liverpool city paper from a couple years ago about why they call us the Friendly Derby. Apparently we are basically the only local rivals who people from households have mixed rooting interests. In Manchester, its basically split on a geographic line and no one mixes blue and red at home.

It was pretty cool, but yea basically we dont really hate each other. Even the clubs dont really hate each other. Every so often they actually talk about building a shared stadium.

The only reasons I really hate Liverpool arent about Everton Liverpool. They are just from dudes who happen to be on Liverpool that I hate, and that I hate what Henry is about and how he treated sox when they left the team, so I just dont like him.

not being able to buy players for a year sucks, but barca is plenty loaded up to get through that. I dont think he would leave and go there, but I can understand why Barca would want him, and I could understand why people think its a step up from Liverpool.
