Yeah, the white guy he works with in those ads (who's the MHL Lite guy, I think) is a rookie, and thus a little less experienced in The High Life (which apparently involves drinking shitty, watery beer), but he's not portrayed as a douche or dweeb or anything like that.

ACTUALL, I cancelled my subcription about a year ago when they wanted to charge me extra for Online Streaming and I got sick of the new programming for the stations I listened too. (I didn't just listen to 202 24/7). I just got my Wife a new car with a free 3 mo. subscription in it.

O&A are still O&A. Kinda like how Howard is still Howard.

R&F are just falling apart. I guess if you listen everyday you become used to the gradually decline, but I tell you as someone who listened to R&F since 2000......wow just wow.

Howard's show is awful. I still listen because it's a habit, but I have not been able to get through one whole show is 3 or 4 weeks. Howard never says anything funny. He talks about American Idol and Dancing with the Stars like an old lady. Now that Artie is gone it's the Robin and Howard show. Howard is not funny and he no longer even interesting. Also plugging Dierder's, I mean Beth's book.

I was listening to an MP3 or an O&A show where they were goofing on Deniro and Pacino and I have not laughed that hard on anything that Howard has ever said.

I probably wouldn't do it myself, but I don't see how there's any difference in the risk of picking up girls on paltalk compared to a bar. Wade, and there are only two ways of overturning it: stack the Supreme Court with anti-abortionists, or get a constitutional amendment. I think it's an interesting observation that Opie is probably the only truly happy ones out of the 3 right now. He has what we call in my line of work, an agitated depression....and Lydia points it out constantly. You do not get that level of raw anger and aggression from someone who is happy. His words mean nothing. Defensiveness and denial is part of the syndrome.

LiddyRules: I don't know. Someone who wants to learn about a different culture/identity. Maybe it's a mandatory sociology-esque course. Plenty of reasons. I mean I think it's the same bullshit as women's studies or Latin American studies or homosexual studies but people are interesting in that to an extent.

I know it sounds like I'm defending black people and white guilt, and I honestly don't mean to be. I know that group is highly flawed. But I have to thank Anthony for getting me to see things through the colored's eyes. I never hated the group as much as many of you seem to but when Anthony became "You have the Presidency! You won!" Guy it honestly got me to realize, maybe the black experience is different from the white one and maybe they do have a right to be annoyed with the white man. I don't advocate them committing crimes or acting savagely but Anthony and the callers helped me to realize that it's quiet possible that they never will be seen as more than astericks. And that would irritate me.
