PB, is that your daughter that had vision problems? How's she doing?
Yeah. That's her. The vision loss in the one eye is permanent, but the meds they gave her cleared up the current inflammation that she was having. She still has the risk of losing her sight in the other eye, but so far, so good. She wears protective glasses when she plays basketball, to prevent any injury that she may get in her good eye.

So the other night at dinner, my three-year-old was fishing around in his glass to get an ice cube. I'm not crazy about him chewing on ice for the obvious choking hazards, so I explain to him that the ice cube is too big for him to try to eat.
"Don't worry daddy, I have a big mouth. Just like mommy."
Somehow I'm getting blamed for this one.

My daughter Moira competed in the New England High School Track and Field Meet yesterday All the top finishers in the 6 New England states compete.
She ran the 3200m race and placed 3rd, in a time of 10:53.86. This is the fastest time she has ever run this race and also the first time she is under 11 minutes. Moira is a junior and will compete next week at the Nike Outdoor National race in NC.
She runs fast!!

2/20/08 John Patrick was ripped from my wife's belly. We were about a trimester ahead of the McDonalds (sorry for sp) so I was pumped for Dave.
The boy and I watched Sugar Ray videos this morning (I had ".. run away run away ..." stuck in my head as I awoke) and then had pancakes. .. what a great first Father's day even though I'm at work now. These are better days, friends.

When we last left our hero....
Dant Dyu, Arelish!
False alarm yesterday. She's at home today. Some pains and pressure today, nothing consistent. Being that it's now Friday afternoon, of course the fucking doctor is encouraging her to take it easy today and this weekend because she doesn't want to have to come to the hospital over the weekend.
I guess in a way, I'd rather not have it on the weekend either, only because I'd prefer to make sure the hospital is fully staffed and functioning in case there are any complications. But I foresee a looong weekend of trying to keep her comfortable and cheery. She's already bored and wanting to get out of the house.
Any truth to the old wives tale about sex helping bring on labor? She's already telling me that her buddies told her that I need to tear it up, then take her on a bumpy car ride and walk her up and down the shoreline.
She's SO over the joy of pregnancy and ready for our daughter to be here. She's probably pacing through the house or sitting on top of the dryer right now.
Sorry it's taken so long. I can't believe it's been over THREE MONTHS!
Kayleigh was born on March 5th. We suffered through the weekend, and were admitted as scheduled on Tuesday night. They began "inducing" during the night, but it really didn't do anything. Her water broke naturally, and our baby was here by noon on Wednesday.
She was so glad she had the epideral. I just can't believe she waited so long to let them do it. She was in pain before 7 am, and they started offering it soon after, but she waited until around 10 am before she finally let them do it. Once she got it, she was like, "OMG, I wish I had listened and gotten this sooner!"
Once the real "labor" began, it all happened quickly. I'd been joking with her for months telling her that her doctor was going to need a catchers mitt because she was going to have no problems shooting her out. Turns out, I was right. They actually told her to "slow down", and "not yet" and had to wait until her doctor got there. Once the doctor was there, is was no more than 20 - 30 minutes before she was here.
Here's the little princess at one month. (I'm hoping I can do this right)

I guess I should clarify. My older two are boys. They were both very easy going babies. She's... different.
Not that raising boys is always easier. Here's what happens when one isn't paying attention while playing baseball and takes one in the schnoz...

hehe - he looks like he was a good sport about it. Reminds me of when I took one to the left eyeball in the early 80's as a catcher and wound up in the ER - for some reason, I thought 3rd base might have given the ball back to the pitcher... since the guy was well past the plate and on his way into the dugout!

My little baby boy just turned three about two weeks ago.
His most recent stories invlove dish towels, flooded toilets and strangers scooping him up.
Dish towels...
Lukas is now Super Hero Bunny. Every day, all the time.
I have to tie a kitchen dish towel on his back and he will yell out Super Hero Bunny to the rescue. He also made the neighbor kid wear MY dishtowel.
http://lh5.ggpht.com/katja.kruppe/SFUxtIenvBI/AAAAAAAACKs/cULpHYTt8sg/IMG_3238.JPG?imgmax=512
Flooded Toilets
Since he is now potty trained I am always proud when he uses the toilet, especially for poopoo, which by the way he makes clear it is "kaka" not poo.
He prefers to sit alone when he goes so I leave the bathroom for his privacy.
Last weeken I hear him scream in fear and yell out for me. As I run down the stairs he is screaming "mommy, mommy, I is scared!!!" I find him standing in a huge puddle water flooding from the clogged toilet. What was in the toilet you might ask???? An entire roll of toilet paper.:blink::thumbup:
Strangers
On his birthday I took him to the Crayola factory. He had a blast but around noon / naptime he got very cranky. Nothing was to his liking. It got to the point where he just cried for no reason and threw himself on the floor. So I stepped away about 5 feet and watched him cry. He cried like he was lost or hurt and terribly lonely. (he is a good actor too I have to add) A mother nearby saw him running up to him and scooping him right up trying to comfort him... as she looks around herself her eyes hit mine and I just said: I am right here, I am watching him, no worries. She just quietly put him down with an "oops" and walked away... lol
For those who have not reached 3 yet... OH MY- you are in for a treat!!!!!
If you thought 2 was bad... NO WAY!!!

So my wife is just past 5 months pregnant and we had the big sonogram day about 2 weeks ago. I saw a hand and a foot and a femur and some thumbsucking. Now this is that magical trip where the staff/doctor tells you the sex of the child and if everything looks normal.
Here's my question since this is our first child: Do I trust the sonogram nurse's intuition? We didn't get a crotch shot and she basically looked at the legs and said, "I think it's a girl." Now I don't particularly care either way, but I'm a natural skeptic. I'd like to know for sure, since people are sending us clothes for a girl.

i think it's more common to be wrong if they say it's a girl. basically that's just "i didn't see a penis." i've heard of mistakes being somewhat common, but i have no idea on percentages or such.

Our nurse that performed the sonogram pointed out the bone structure in the pelvic area and did a little more than give the "I don't see a penis". There were two parallel cavities or "dark spots" that she kept referring to. I wish I remembered exactly what she said they were, or why that made her so certain (And, no, it wasn't the labia), but she said she was 99.9% certain it was a girl... and, of course, she was right.
If your nurse saw any telling signs other than a lack-o-penis, she should have told you.
Stick with the neutral stuff until you know for sure.

She did say that the leg position was her reason, but she didn't sound very convincing. Plus the baby didn't move around a lot, just profile shots and thumb sucking, so we couldn't get a crotch shot.

Sounds like just the opposite of our son. In every ultrasound since week 18, he's had the goods very obviously on display. I hope he suppresses that habit once he gets here.

I can safely tell you he won't be suppressing that habit. The other night my son was running away from me naked in the middle of a diaper change, found one of our living room coasters and well...began using it on...yeah. That coaster got scalded in hot water that night I can tell you.
In other stuff, since the boy turned 18 months a couple of weeks ago, he's really finding his words now. We have our first 3 syllable word, "cheerio" (yes, the cereal). He also knows that we turn of the Good Night Show on PBS Sprout while Daddy unwinds and Mommy makes dinner. Last night, as soon as he walked in the door he ran to the TV and said "Star" , who is the puppet host of the Good Night Show.
When I finally learn how to post a picture without being stupid about it, I will get a pic up here of him. I tried following the FAQ and it didn't work, so I'm going to have to try again at some point.

Here's a quick set of instructions.
1. First, find a place to host your picture (the ronfez.net gallery and photobucket.com both work)
2. Upload your pics
3. after pic is uploaded, right click it, and click properties.
4. Copy the pic address.
5. When posting, click the http://www.ronfez.net/forums/images/skins/rf_blue/editor/insertimage.gif button. There will be a pop-up. Copy the pic address in the field of the pop-up.
6. Click okay.
7. Click submit reply.

Ahh... thanks Mike on the instructions. I'm hoping this works but the URL looks cut off somehow to me even though it's what Properties said it was. (I actually had to edit it 2 times to get the right URL, I actually copied the direct link that Photobucket gave me. The Properties button was cutting it off for some reason.)

Sprout was the only channel my son watched. He did not care for TV at all until he was about 2 and discovered the Good Night show on Sprout.
It worried me a bit cause the shows are all very little boyish... Noddy, Angelina, and Kipper being his favorites.
Now he evolved to Noggin and loves anything with music in it- Backyardigans, YoGabba Gabba...

I know. She seems like such a big girl already. Except for her lack of teeth so far, she's just not a baby anymore. She's crawling now and chasing the cats all over the living room. And next week she'll be at Shea Stadium for the first (and last) time.

I've noticed that we have alot of parents of this board, and I couldn't find a good all purpose thread to brag, vent, console, and inquire about all the things involved with our kids.
And the show is involved in parenting as well. Dave's getting ready to have a baby, Ron has kids, and Fez is playing with himself while talking to Coco on the phone, so he's not far behind.
Who knows, maybe we'll have enough interest to have a forum.
I'll start. We had a sonogram for our second child today, and we are pretty far along. It is a fasciniating moment to see the features of a small human inside of my wife. It is really humbling, and frightening, and exhilirating. We still haven't found out the sex yet, but we are discussing it. (As I already stated in another thread).
So, tell us about your kids!1
My wife and I had a sonoplex of our 4th childs penis. She was pissed off!
Don't ask don't tell.... thats been our policy since #2

Well, we had our first ER visit on Tuesday night. And of course it was while I was at my parents house, out of state in IL, the night before we had to fly home.
The boy woke up that morning with a very bad and dry, barking cough. When he went to bed that night, it got worse. By the time we went to bed, his breathing was laboured and he was pretty much wheezing at that point. So...off to the ER we go. Good news is that it's just some croup. After a oxygen/cold air humidifier treatment and a shot of steroids, we were allowed to go home and get a little sleep so we wouldn't be too horrible at the airport the next day. As far as ERs go, this one was pretty good and I didn't have any bad ordeals with them, but they still suck and are scary.
While he was already sounding better yesterday AM, since he only got half the sleep he's used to, in the airport he was super-crankerific. Thank God, once we got on the flight he slept the whole way home to NJ to make up for the lack of sleep and didn't piss off the other travellers.
Meh.

They should teach new parents about the croup immediately after delivery. Most parents I know have gone through it, and it's scary as hell if you don't know what's going on. It's always after the fact that some wiseass, know it all parent will tell you what you should have done, but while it's happening to your child, it honestly seems like they are about to die.
I was home alone with my two when it hit my youngest one night. He was about four years old, and we have dealt with breathing problems his whole life, so when he was able to gasp out to me that he "couldn't breathe", I took him seriously and called 911, and started him on his nebulizer. I didn't see any way I could get him and my oldest (who is only 10.5 months older) in the car and to the ER fast enough.
Yes, I panicked, and should have been more level headed, but I had no idea what the fuck was going on, and it really seemed like he could not get enough oxygen. By the time the paramedics arrived, the nebulizer was starting to work, but we did end up driving to the ER to have his blood oxygen checked and receive a steroid shot, but the panic was over once the moist air started hitting his lungs.
That night from the paramedics, and afterwards from other parents, I learned that if it happens, to take him outside if it's cool and humid, or try to let him breathe steam from a hot shower, boiling water, or vaporizer. (Or the nebulizer, if you happen to have one)
Seriously, the nurses or pediatricians should take five minutes from their non-stop preaching on the benefits of breast feeding, and give a quick explanation on the signs of the croup, and what to do in case it happens to your child.
Glad to hear everything turned out ok for ya.

we got some bad news at our 20 week sonogram today. Our baby(a boy) has a bilateral CPC...which are cysts on the brain. All the body parts checked out normal as far as development, which is apparently a good sign. But its sucks when things like Downs and T17 are brought up. we go back in the 3 weeks again to check them out and probably 3 weeks after that. Most go away by the 26th week. So it would be great if you could say a prayer for my little boy and hopefully everything works out. hopefully its just another thing that they are just over cautious about. kind of sad right now though.

we got some bad news at our 20 week sonogram today. So it would be great if you could say a prayer for my little boy and hopefully everything works out. hopefully its just another thing that they are just over cautious about. kind of sad right now though.
consider it done. God Bless.

That's better.
He is already flexing?
Even in his sleep?
I'll be surprised if he doesn't smash that bassinet over another baby's head before he outgrows it. In a good way, of course. A street fight rules baby match.
That's his favorite sleeping position. He hates being swaddled (at 10 lbs he overheats very quickly) so I usually just lay him down, tuck a blanket in from his waist down, and wait for him to eventually kick that off.
And Casey, when Jack's eyes finally focus, I'm showing him that video. Julianna is just too cute!

I play a lot of different music for my daughter who isn't yet 2. I find myself amazed when she can identify bands I am playing, especially when not "in order" (like playing a CD with the same starting song etc..) I put in a mixed CD in the player the other day that I made and the 4th song in was Queen Bitch by David Bowie that Molly has heard maybe a handful of times in different ways (different CDs, on a DVD etc). As soon as it came on she piped up "David Bowie. Like this song." Is this something all kids do or do I have a musical prodigy? (which would be way cool!) I have never been around kids until having my own so I have nothing to compare it to.
I don't mind if my balloon gets burst--I'd love to hear about other kids doing the same sort of stuff and to find out she's perfectly normal.

Most kids will respond to things that they like, but it definitely depends on the kid as to how they'll react. Some kids will just dance; other kids will learn the lyrics. It depends.
It doesn't have to be a certain ritual or pattern. Kids' brains develop at a crazy rate, so they are CONSTANTLY learning ... so, if you've told your daughter that the song was by David Bowie and she knows she likes it, it's only natural that she should be able to identify it no matter where she hears it.
Listening to music, most notably Mozart (but any complex structure will do; Bowie can be complex...I don't know the song you mentioned offhand, so I can't tell you one way or the other), has been shown to have an impact on brain development, no matter how short-lived. Your daughter is VERY lucky to be exposed to so many different kinds of music ... it'll probably have some kind of impact, even if it's not in the "prodigy" sense.

I've always had a problem when my kid was doing something awesome to grab a camera. I'd rather see it through my eyes then to see it through a lens. But then there is always remorse when you don't have certain things on film.

I posted about my yet to be born son a few weeks ago. He was found to have CPCs, which are cysts in the brain, at the 20 week sonogram. We went back for a 23 week one and they are still there. So we go back for a 27 week one in a couple of weeks and hope to find out they went away.

Yes, this was the ultrasound the doctor used automatically, and they didn't charge us anything extra for it.
And, even cooler, technically it's a 4D ultrasound - the fourth dimension being time. So, as they were sliding that ultrasound thing-y over my wife's belly, the 3D image was on the screen in real time, so we could see the baby moving around.
It's crazy.

the weirdest is girls consistently go gaga over his eyelashes. girls are weird.

I've been putting off packing up the stuff my (now 18 year old) son left behind when he moved out over 5 months ago. It's been too hard on me to spend more than 5 minutes in his room at a time, but I have to get it done. I'm really fucking depressed about this.
Aww, this breaks my heart. I'm so sorry, PB.

Big time life transition time here.
I packed up my son Patrick and we took him to college. He is now a first year Engineering student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy NY. We moved him into his dorm then took him out to dinner then back to his dorm and it was time to say goodbye. I know my wife has been very emotional about this for many months and she held up real well. I am not the show emotions type but I can truely say that it tough. Patrick and I have been very close all his life. I coached him through every level of baseball, we each got our umpiring patch this summer and umped games together. We go to Yankee games every Friday for years. and football games all fall. Neither of us is the chatty, buddy-buddy, shoot the shit type guys. Its the Irish blood Hell we would travel for hours going places and not really have to say alot of stuff, but we always did stuff together, were together and that was always a good thing. I have always tried to be a good role model for the type of person he should be and most of the time I set a good example, not always, but most of the time. He has many of my good traits and a few that I'm not real thrilled about. But I can honestly say that I am proud of who he is and who he is on the way to becoming. I can also say that I will miss having him around.
He may have the opportunity to play baseball at RPI, they're DIII and he has worked out for the coaches and may try out. He's a little nervous about the work load but he has a chance. Otherwise he may run Cross country and track to stay in shape. So as I said its a major life milestone for me. My daughter Moira, the runner, is going into her senior year so my wife and I will have to do it all again next year. Then its empty nest time.

That reminded me of when my parents brought me to college. Same thing happened except I went back to campus via Metro and they went back to their hotel. My Mom told me later she lost it as I went down the station escalator and they turned to walk away.

I had to kick my dad out of my dorm room when I started college. He had an hour drive back home to face all by himself ... after lugging my trunk up 4 flights of stairs because the damn dorm didn't have an elevator. Poor Dad.
It made me wonder whether it would be the same for him with my sister.
It wasn't.

Yesterday I took the kids to the Museum of Science in Boston. Great place, very cool exhibits and extremely interactive.
They also currently have a Baseball exhibit with a ton of stuff on loan from Cooperstown. I got to show my kids that million dollar Honus Wagner baseball card and an original Norman Rockwell baseball painting in addition to hundreds of other cool pieces of baseball history.
The thing that fascinated them the most? The San Diego Chicken costume.
It was a really fun day.

I used to love that place when I was a kid. I used to see ads for it all the time on the old Channel 38. The best was when my Dad would take me up there during the day and then to Fenway for a game at night.

isn't she like an alien or something?
From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backyardigans#Uniqua)
A curious, self-confident and high-spirited pink creature with polka dots and overalls, she is almost always sweet and friendly, though her strong opinions and occasional stubbornness get in the way of her relationships. She is more tomboyish than Tasha, and often imagines herself in roles requiring brains and fortitude (scientist, pirate captain, etc). More than once, when she has got the mystery solved she will interject with a "You guys!".
Uniqua is a unique creature that is unlike any other in the world, and Uniqua is also the name of her species. Creator Janice Burgess describes Uniqua as the child she wishes she was like as a child. She has been called simply "Uniqua, the pink" in Knights Are Brave and Strong.
My sister asked me what Uniqua is, so I looked into it.

Wow, what a huge day for the both of you.
My oldest started a new preschool. First week was cake, but now drop-offs have been BRUTAL! Screaming, crying, and everyday we call to check and it's the same answer. Two minutes after we leave he's perfect, and he always has a great day. Maybe we are the problem.

Sammich-- I was completely cool with it & wasn't one of those weeping parents, actually I never was even when she was a baby & dropped her off when she was a few months old at daycare. She was ok until she got to her seat on the bus, then got a little misty eyed but other than that she was good to go!
She gets bused from nursery school to kindergarten (half day) then from kindergarten back to nursery school where father of the year picks her up at 5pm starting tomorrow. I went and rescued her early today because it was also her 1st day at this nursery school, her old daycare was in a different school district & she couldn't be bused from there, wouldn't you know she cried & was pissed off I came early to get her. I can never win.
With your son you have to pass him off to the daycare person & turn and walk out, don't look back. It's the easiest way. It sounds cold but otherwise he'll just scream and cry, he doesn't like the detachment from you or your wife but he has to get use to otherwise he'll be attached to those apron strings for life!

Nice.
Yeah, we went through this with the first daycare, and we got through it. It was just weird, because we fully expected it last week, when everything was brand new and scary. But he was amazing. Then this week he reverted. Has us questioning all sorts of shit, like what his schedule has been at home, his diet, making sure we're not paying too much attention to son #2, stuff like that. It'll blow over, but until then, damn is it a kick in the nuts.

Rouski - your daughter is gorgeous. Congrats on the Kindegarden.
Diablo - Schwartzmen Quartet rules!!!
Papa - good luck with that man. that room looks like a disaster, but at least it'll make you laugh at what a pain he was while he was home.
My wife is due with #2 in about 3 1/2 weeks. we are starting to get nervous. We think our daughter knows something is up. she has been very clingy to my wife. If it makes you feel any better, my mother always said: "The smarter the kid, the harder they are to control"
that being said, my mother also told me I was an easy, docile child
sadly I know he is smart and plays me big time... he has been sicklish the past days so it is hard to tell the difference... where I would normally ignore I have to be cautious not to ignore the real issues.
he is a great actor and extremely stubborn and persistent... so where a normal child would give up panicking or crying to get their way after 5-15 minutes... he will be in a rage an hour later.
Mind you, he only does that for me. He is an ANGEL at the day care, an angel with my parents during the day and a good boy with his dad.
Last night we spent 3 h from 2 AM to 5 AM playing the "i am unwell, figure out what's wrong with me by completely catering to my every wish or else I will scream and get upset... " game which was not an option with guests in the house... so he once again got his way... and I am still undecided whether he was really unwell or just a pill.
Where are the good old days when a time out and a spanking still meant that mom means business ... :(

Aaaw Kat... Your not alone :bigfatovertiredparenthugs:
Liz and I have been dealing with 103 -104 degree fevers and the ever popular nebulizer treatments. My favorite part is when Colin taps on my closed eyelid at 4am asking to go down stairs cause he's not sleepy. :wallbash:
But he did greet me at the door a few days ago and said... "Daddy, guess what? I dropped a deuce today.

Aww.. throwing tantrums is usually within the normal parameters of what everyone calls the "terrible twos", but as any parent will tell you, the terrible twos usually start as early as one and last well into their teen years. I guess it's a sign he's testing you, as you're probably well aware. I've seen many cases where the child puts on a different face for each relationship. Hopefully this will serve him well when he's older as he's laying his foundation for future development. I'm probably not helping but I just wanted to say your son sounds very bright and not to beat yourself up over it without letting him manipulate you. Kids are smart and more in tune with their surroundings then we give credit for. I just feel bed whenever I see parents stressing over this. It's so difficult to differentiate normality from risk and pathology. When all else fails you can use the old standby which worked for our parents: "Because I said so.. end of story"

he gets the stubborn from me and his dad... I never took crap from anybody and he is twice as bad. LOL
he is smart and I know he can behave very good if he wants to, and he normally does.
Right now he is extra needy because my normally undivided attention is shared by him and my parents who are visiting.
You are right, they are capable of so much.
I know for example that he understands both Spanish and german, yet he will only talk back spanish to his dad, and when addressed in German by me or my parents he rsponds in English, because he knows he can.
He not only differentiates between who speaks what language with, but also within just a few days knows what and who he can get away with what.
He is 3 now, so I hope his stubborn phase will end eventually.
(I have no illusions, it never ended for me...lol)

Yeah. I know. My brother Joe was like that.
Of course it's ... 21 years since Joe was 3, so I am a little rusty on the weird things that little boys do.
But, at least they don't want me to play Barbies with them like little girls do. (There are few things I loathe more in this world than playing Barbies except playing "house" or "school." My nieces know not to ask me to play any of that with them. We like to color or play with Play Doh instead. Sometimes, we will draw with sidewalk chalk outside.)
Oh, and I can tell little boys all about dinosaurs.
I love dinosaurs. (My nephew, who is 2, thinks I'm great because of this.)

apparently he is very sensitive... he locked my mom's bf out today after a walk, yelling out that he "never ever will be his friend again" and that now Oma is his new friend...
slammed the door and actually locked it... priceless :D

Ohhh, growing up I loved playing "house", "school" and "hair dresser"; any activity that involved play acting. I use to sit for 4 girls and they'd have me running around their house pretending we were surrounded by cotton candy and bubbles.

I didn't mind the imaginary play (my best friend and I used to play Narnia in the woods behind her house), but I really freaking HATED playing "house" or "school" with the other girls in my class at school. I never understood why it was so much fun to pretend to be in school or to pretend you were someone's mother or wife or whatever. I was going to go to college and get a job when I grew up, not get married and have babies! (I've only relatively recently changed my mind on the whole getting married and having babies thing, having been married a year and change already and we've discussed having children for a while now.)
I never played "beauty parlor" with friends, but I did give my brother Gerald a haircut once. (Dad yelled at me for cutting his hair and him for being dumb enough to let me do it.) And I used to brush and braid my mom's hair, but that's mostly because I was good at it and she wasn't.
On the flip side, I've been into dinosaurs since I was 3. Even as an adult, I'm always learning new things about them!!!

I heard walking around with a doll will help ease the transition for her and get her accustomed to having a baby around, or maybe that was for the family pet? Either way it can't hurt, aside from feeling silly.
Congratulations

My first two kids were 25 months apart. From what I can remember, there weren't any problems at all. The older one was a boy, so it may not be the same for you, though I've heard little girls love having a younger baby around to "take care of".

Yeah, they'll either view the baby as competition or they'll want to be mommy's little helper. I know I wanted a little sister sooooo bad when I was 7.

I know of many that become the care giver and want to help wherever they can.
my sister and I are 3 years apart. She hated me coming along... there is a photograph somewhere where she just would not smile and pull my hair instead... when I was not even a year old :D
I think you may want her to get into playing with a baby doll herself a lot... then she will get more excited about a real baby in the house

I was thinking the same thing before I paged down to your answer, only mine is underneath my eye. My wife has a scar in her eyebrow from a coffeetable, too. Honest to God, just yesterday we were talking about buying a coffee table - actually, in an hour we're going to look at some - and she pointed to her eyebrow and said "do you see this? I got this on the corner of a coffee table."
