The Republican stated in the first month of his presidency that their job is to make sure he is a failed President...
If this was so bad, they would be falling all over themselves to make sure this passes.
The fact that they are so against it mean they know it will succeed and they are scared to death of it.
If you think that they are doing it for the "Good of the Country" then I have a Ryan Braun story that you can believe also..

the worst part of this is that i still have to report to work and not get paid.
i blame, in total, the tea party. their goal has always been to disrupt the government, it has been their mantra. obamacare is not the reason, it merely became a rallying point. but if obamacare had been defeated years ago, we'd stil be shutdown. they just would have used another reason.
they are anti-government by nature and do not believe in actual governing.

Please explain to us how the government shutdown is not completely Boehner's fault and is somehow Obama's fault.
Explain:
1. How is not even allowing a vote on a bill that most people agree will pass if voted on not circumventing the legislative process, setting a dangerous precedence and giving a "fuck you" to the constitution the tea party claims to love so much?
2. How is Boehner NOT holding his position as House Speaker in higher regard than the 700k people currently out of work?
3. How does the GOPs willingness to shut down the government not signal that they care more about passing their agenda and pleasing a vocal minority of the constituents then actually governing this country?

1. Party policy is to follow the Hastert rule, the "majority of the majority" which is fine. House of Reps sets its own rules of order more or less which does allow for almost less than 50 people to dictate what the 380 some odd other representatives will be allowed to vote on.
2. It's common knowledge that they'll backpay the workers. This is just desperation negotiations with the Senate and Obama. Of course, they're not going to repay the rest of America for the massive economic damage a shutdown brings about.

A big fuck you to the Constitution was Barack carving out, making exemptions and issuing delays unilaterally. Violating article II. Barry is supposed to be a constitutional scholar. Guess he didn't teach that part of the constitution when he was a part time lecturer
Some workers are on furlough for example the DoD but the Drone president still has his favorite aircraft flying. This leads to another thing. Why have so many federal workers in the 1st place? Unfortunately over the decades our government has gorwn exponentially under both democratic and GOP administrations. The Dept of Energy, Education and Homeland security for example which meads to more bureaucrats, pensions, benefits, redundancy etc
Boehner is a horrible speaker, Probably will go down as the worst or one of the worst but lets not allow Barack to Slither away and let him off the hook. He is an inept executive incapable of deal making and as usual goes on TV and complains like a petulant child. I don't recall Clinton doing that in 95.
As far as whitey, When we are all dead, good luck finding people to pay for the federal leviathan, the welfare, and warfare state and feeding the monster. Or we can finally cash in our white privilege cards and claim affirmative action when we are the minority.

If it was truly unconstitutional, it would have been brought to the Supreme Court. People tried to buy into the narrative that Obama wasn't born in America to prevent him from being president. Do you honestly believe that anyone would pass up the chance like that?

Our economy, population and borders have grown as well. For an expanding society to function, government has to expand accordingly. Also, not for nothing, but Obama's presidency has seen the federal government shrink by nearly 100,000 workers. Not that it fits into your narrative of course but let us just throw that factoid out there.

Whites draw the majority of welfare and are the biggest proponents of military intervention. Don't you remember the 80s and 90s when we would go bomb the fuck out of some country because the President needed some white cheerleaders?

Hastert Rule is funky but it is what it is. We've been dealing with it any time there's a GOP held house and people know the game. It's usually fine when there isn't a faction of radical anarchists in the Republican party that have to become increasingly apoplectic about any government action that doesn't direct revenue to their districts.

No president can unilaterally pick and choose what parts of a law to carry out. Article II backs that up. Furthermore the SCOTUS many times fails to interpret the words of the constitution.
If you really want government to expand, then either follow the processes of the constitution or call for an article V convention and change our country into a democracy instead of a representative republic.
As far as welfare and other entitlements, I agree most people on those programs are white, however whites are still about 75% of the population. Do you recall now that we are still bombing the hell out of countries, but this time its much more covert in the drone age.

What is psychobabble about blaming both parties ? Boehner is horrible, so is McConnell even though he is minority leader. However there is the executive branch and they are asleep as usual. Barack sent Biden to the hill in December to negotiate on the fiscal cliff. Now he did that because Joe was there for 35 years and Barack was there for about 10 minutes. Couldn't he do that again? Biden knows the process. He's been thru this.
Boehner is a bad speaker, Barack is a bad executive. Clinton had to deal with the opposite party and he was able to hammer out deals. He had a superior support/cabinet/chief of staff in his administration.

I already said that Boehner is at fault too. However why wasn't the Senate in Session Sunday. Maybe a last minute deal could have been made. Where was Barack ?
We are talking about an entirely complex law. Why not at least delay the individual mandate and work out any target areas of concern?
Speaking of Obamacare, I saw that the administration state that it could be at least 2 months before all the glitches for the websites are fixed. Barack mentions Apple however if Apple had a continuing problem with IOS for 2 months you would see people buying Samsung phones en masse.

Because we can't keep kicking the can down the road to allow politicians to spout populist lies about death panels and government run healthcare so they can get elected. PPACA works just fine.

There were already death panels in the health insurance industry. Grisham made a fortune off of pointing out a situation in one of his novels.
While this isn't socialized healthcare, its government colluding with private industry which is not beneficial. Price controls, favoritism and cronyism
So...mixed market? America has always colluded between industry and government. Whenever it hasn't, there were revolts against the government.

Healthcare is something people want. Plus, as far as I can tell since people can vote the government is accountable to the population. Just because you're against it doesn't mean a majority of the country is against it.
Who would be so gullible to have another agency get access to their personal info? It's just another arm of data mining.
We're really going to go there? Look at the wild west bullshit that was going on before HIPAA. If that wasn't around, we'd have people directly marketing to consumers based off of their medical files.

They were bills. If the employer mandate was good enough for a delay and there were extra carve outs, why screw over the citizens
So why monopolize it and have it sanctioned by government.
Price controls, cronyism, and even more collusion? Plus having the federal government bastardizing the commerce clause is the solution?
No ones saying they don't want it but why does it have to be another multi trillion dollar entitlement which the government understated the cost and is what can be called a stepping stone. The goal is single payer.
Yes we are because your willingness to allow the gov't to grow even more while collecting data feeds the leviathan.

Who's for draconian over the top security? Enforce current laws, gut the handouts and deny them opportunities . They'll leave.
Your solution is a real winner. Expand the welfare state even more and rack up more debt and fleece taxpayers
2 sets of rules. Reward them for breaking the law but the rest of us have to follow the law or else get harassed with the might of every level of government
so the Romney plan, self deportation, which won't work because standards of living are too low in most of the Antebellum South
also "illegals" would need a socsec# along with other documentation to receive benefits, which means they'd be paying into the system
TANF (welfare as you know it) is limited to 60mos max lifetime
SNAP (food stamps as you know it) is most of the poverty belt and not just illegals but a broad spectrum of skin colors
The illegals are promising civil disobedience , furthermore I already said it costs more to have those park rangers barricading the monuments than to keep them open

Which "handout" do you want gutted that would save us so much money, and how would gutting that handout not lead to a draconian policy? Strictly enforcing the current law is amazingly more expensive than amnesty, which would lead to more legal tax payers. Face it WF, you are willing to bite off your nose to spite your face in order to achieve.... What? What magically happens when we spend more money than we'd receive by enforcing these laws?

I think you believe that I am advocating for just stopping people who are Mexican/Central American for no reason. That's not the case. What I'm saying I'd that enforcing laws like DWI and other crimes and people guilty of those laws should be deported.
If that was the case illegals would see that it's not worth living here illegally.
We granted mass amnesty in 1986 to 3 million people. Today we have 20 million. They got the amnesty but the enforcement part was never enforced. With the mass influx of illegals since the local state and national budgets have exploded due to taxpayers being on the hook to babysit them and their extended families
I am for a limited legalization, I've stated in the past 4 years military service would qualify. Also in some very limited cases if an illegal can pay a huge fine (with no subsidies) they can get a green card but not citizenship.
Just issuing a quasi pardon will not stop people from coming here illegally

So you want the government to waste money by creating a system that is well in excess of capacity for the average use during the lifetime of the program?
the ~*free market*~ would do the same; look at major online game launches. servers shit the bed until use begins to normalize

The free market doesn't force you to buy Grand Theft Auto
The government had over 3 years to get something as basic as websites but as usual crashed and burned.
Furthermore people actually want Grand theft Auto
I never wanted the government to collude with insurance companies and waste taxpayer money on websites that don't work and another program
Maybe this is intentional so that the call for single payer gets louder

The Park Service has a limited budget and there are more important things than letting people visit the monuments.
Since there's no additional funding their way, should they blow through their budget and recklessly spend so that the monuments stay open? Or do they prudently spend and try to keep vital operations going?
Republicans fucked up and thought they'd get massive concessions by shutting down the government. Blame Obama all you want but the House originates all spending bills -- if they aren't capable of delivering a bill that passes Senate and White House muster, they're the ones who have to make changes.

he is down to 37% and thats from gallup. Awesome.Im on gallups website right now and their NEWEST daily approval for obama is 44%. You are making shit up.
Im not giving the president a free pass on his entire fuckin term. Im giving him a pass on the part where he NEGOTIATED with the house republicans and they came to an agreement. Then at the last minute, the house republicans backed out of that agreement. What the fuck is Obama supposed to do? He already conceded to them to the tune of 70 billion dollars. In this instance, he is doing exactly what he should. You dont go back to the table with people you already made a deal with and they backed out. Thats not how the world works.
You want him held accountable. OK, in this instance, Barack Obama is accountable for sitting down in july, negotiating, agreeing to a deal that had many concessions from himself, and then watching while the other side snaked out of an agreement.
If you want to argue other shit that has nothing to do with this, then sure, we can take obama to task for things he has done. Im not a huge fan of the guy, to be honest. But if you look at just this situation objectively, there is NO WAY you can put the blame on anyone but the GOP, period.

ok ill answer your curiosity but just so you know, this is no longer about the point i made. The point i made was about who would take the blame, not the process.
The ramifications for cutting a guy is, whatever prorated bonuses he has left hit the cap right away. Essentially, Guaranteed money. If the giants were to cut eli after this year, the cap hit would be around 40% of there total cap. Its not feasible. If he was to be cut, then yes, he would be an unrestricted Free Agent.

i didnt say he was clinton. Guess what, not alot of guys are like clinton.
Why is obamacare such an albatross? You know things can be tweaked to work better right? Let it go out and see what needs to be fixed and then fix it. I dont understand when everyone in congress became fuckin psychics. None of them or people like you, when they make those comments, ever give any reasons WHY its going to be so bad. EVER. Why is it such a disaster? And regardless, its the fuckin LAW. Pass a budget, and then go about changing the law if you dont like it. Thats how we do things.
Regardless, you still seem to be having trouble. You wanna blame Obama in this budget thing because he uses drones? Blame him for using drones, but that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. IN THIS INSTANCE, ITS NOT HIS FAULT. IN THIS INSTANCE. Can you wrap your puerto rican head around that?

i love how you also ignored that chart. and all the other things that show you people feelings arent really changing much on the democratic party, and their opinions are TANKING on the republican party.
Im not just ripping off talking points. I have backed up all my statements with the statistics showing what I am saying. How about, for once, people just listen. Just listen to facts

I have to go to work, so for now this will be my last point on this.
I dont like Obama. I did like my GOP congressman. I now dont like him even 1%. My feeling on Obama is about the same. That is how I know this thing is not his fault.
I didnt vote him back in, but he is the president, so I have to live with that. So I look at what he does objectively. If he does something wrong, Ill call him out. If he does something right, ill be man enough to admit that. There has been times where his leadership has looked shaky. And there have been times where it was so fuckin good even Chris Christie was up his ass.
But looking objectively, Obama is doing the right thing right now. The republicans arent. I cant put it anymore clear than that

I've addressed your points. Talking points would be saying that there is nothing wrong with the GOP. I've already addressed that both parties suck. One more than another but the Dems aren't stellar.

Janet Yellen will probably get confirmed with no issues to chair the fed
Just what we need , someone controlling the money supply to use it for social justice.
Next time Barack squawks for higher income taxes and everyone gloms on just remember that goes to pay off interest to a cartel of bankers

Which right wing website gave you that opinion?
Why do you focus on some vague allusion to her using money supply for social justice, instead of her incredible resume?

Almost no private sector experience.
Just another person entrenched in the government/academia complex for most of her life
You should actually do research on the federal reserve and see the damage it has done to the purchasing power and responsible for the bubbles and busts

What's your obsession with bringing up right wing websites. That's just as bad when people say Librul Media
Can you actually analyze anything and quit being snarky for once?
Lets just appoint someone who just writes peer reviewed dissertations and papers about theory and hypothesis about a multi trillion dollar economy but spent 40 years in a bubble
Why aren't you addressing the actual operations and functions of the fed as well as how it has not been beneficial? Maybe you know or don't know about the fed. I'm not sure about that, however people who do know what the fed has done in it's 100 years and never being audited despite being a private bank (colluding with government) just want the practice to continue of creating debt from nothing.
People get pissed of at Wall Street but many are ignorant of the feds role.
Yellen, looks to continue the spigot pouring of 85 billion monthly

I keep bringing it up because everyone on this forums knows that you incessantly mimic right-wing talking points.
I am not NEARLY qualified to give an intelligent economic opinion. Neither are you, but you are qualified to read a right-wing website that gives you an opinion and parrot it.

It's not talking points.
So my economics degree as well as experience in brokerage firms, investment banks and buy side asset managers and now daytrading doesn't count?
Or my own research on the fed when in college when my professors were gushing over Greenspan
Let me guess, more right wing websites.
