Sebelius doesn't know how many people paid citing that the info isn't collected by HHS?

http://www.politico.com/story/2014/03/obamacare-affordable-care-act-health-insurance-premiums-104602.html#ixzz2voRwk8HV

The feds collect everything, down to our emails and texts and Sebelius comes up with an answer like that?

Please stop waging a war on women.

Still didn't reach 7 million , the WH won't say how many paid. They are not getting their numbers of younger healthy people to sign up

And they issued another delay.

So what happens with all these subsidies people don't pay their premiums or deductibles ? Maybe bail out insurance co's ?
Great law we have here. Hooray for corporatism.

He's my Congressman and I'm glad to see the bastard go, but he IS right TO A POINT. The DC metro area is a very expensive place to live and many members of Congress have to maintain two residences: one in DC and one in their home state/district. You can't jet back to American Samoa, Alaska, Hawaii or the West Coast every weekend.

But what Moran DOESN'T note is that a large number of the members of Congress are millionaires.

yet as you say, there IS truth to the point no matter how much we don't like their results or work. as to the millionaire point, that in itself is an issue and not a true representation of this country. perhaps one issue (paid too little for a normal worker/citizen to even think it), tied to campaign finance, spending limits and free air/equal time, the whole landscape could start to change…even a little would be good.

Congress was never meant to be a full time gig with all the perks and lavish benefits.

That all changed especially with the direct election of US Senators, so now each member regardless of chamber has tons of staffers and others as part of their entourage

Look at Issa for example. He's worth over 300 million and I believe is the richest in Congress.

Plus there's a lot of cash these people get on the take. I have no sympathy for any one of those 535 members

If he's "the richest" how does that qualify as "for example"?

No worries for the less fortunate Congresspeople. The staffers in their entourages can help pay for their personal living expenses!

They also have more influence in congress the longer they've been there, so it's kinda spiting yourself to throw out your incumbent. It's simple game theory, really.
