The construction values of modern suburban homes are abysmal. Crappy prefab homes started as small homes for first time home buyers in the mid to late 1970's. I could deal with that. For the last 10 years or so, "luxury homes" have been constructed with shitty materials in cookie cutter form. Entire neighborhoods... I've bitched about it in the past.

Now I'm bitching about the "amenities" that the homeowners of these shitty homes are using to create a "beautiful suburban experience".

Unfortunately, in this economy, HR managers are SWAMPED with materials and can't call every single person who applies. The days of HR people reaching out to everyone is over.

Also, as a piece of advice, check your spam filters. I've gotten two emails from employers that got caught in my spam filter. Both were jobs I eventually got the gig.

I applied for geico to be a claims rep among the other positions. Not my field and I am over qualified for too. So, I really understand how tough it is.
