I know that when it comes to music and movies, I'm not a typical customer. But I hate, hate, hate when I'm bothered by employees when browsing the shelves. If I look confused, it's fine to ask me if there's something I'm looking for. But I can always tell when they've just had a meeting about customer service, as I'll be bothered more than once while just shuffling through titles.

But it's even worse when they try to converse with you. One time in particular I'll never forget. I had a couple of CD's in my hand, and this high school-aged employee came up to me. After asking if there's anything I was looking for, he asked to see what I had picked out. Um, ok. Then he makes a feeble attempt to tip me off on some hot new music. Was it some obscure indie rock band? Or a brand new release that he wanted to help sell a few copies? No, he pimped out the (at the time) new U2 album. Nothing against U2, but they hardly need the help and I think I look like somebody who would be aware of a new album.

- i have fallen arches so i put insoles in my shoes. they have insoles for just the ball of the foot. try those for some extra traction.

they also sell little gel inserts for the back of the shoe so it fits better and does not slip. but the insoles should do a good job
