you should talk to a lawyer, it seems so wrong and the worst that can happen is that they have to pay you back for the final months there.

That sort of defies logic, but then state and federal institutions require leaving logic at the entrance into the facility.

My opinion for what it is worth would be you bettered yourself through education, where 60% of the US lack a college degree. I wonder how many in your office lack a degree and make the same if not more than you?

no. its a site that provides the paperwork that makes the bank produce the original document with your signature on it from the original loan. since lots of mortgages were split apart and pieced together and repackaged in other mortgages and sold off to other banks, its hard to find that note. its not a permanent fix, but it could help buy some time while you figure things out.

He was insured with him... but given that he already asked to stop paying child support (which I refused him cause he is getting unemployment and working off the books) I know he is not going to pay for private insurance.

I checked into the state offered insurance for kids called CHIP and I am amazed, it requires that the child has been without any insurance for 6 months... why would they do that? Unemployment lasts 6 months on average so why would they make the kids wait until then to be eligible? how is that supporting parents in need? They have free state paid coverage but also partially funded by the parents like a premium...increasing in copay based on income (if any)... but again why would they make the parents wait???

yeah he has been good healthwise for the past years... just minor colds ... being in daycare from his infant year on helped kick most viruses and infections... but you just never know... it usually happens when you don't have insurance...

That would be my advice. Usually it is because that is the COBRA cutoff, but there has to be an exception and I would call and bug them about it.

cobra is a problem cause often the insurance offered by employers is partially paid for by them, when you start paying the full premium + administrative fee you end up paying as much as what your unemployment rate is.

That is the best thing you can do, get as many refills as you can 45 days before your coverage ends and store the refills you get at home because out of pocket costs for refils sucks.

As much of a douche conservative as I am I was moved by Obama last night and for the first time in a long time I have some hope that things will actually change. He did a great job last night and I think part of his speech spoke directly to single mothers with children, the responsible ones anyway. There are some new health care initiatives that relate directly to children with out insurance. The initiatives are already federal law and there's a hot track to get them to the people. that's different. he has baby teeth with fairly wide gaps between. none of his teeth touch the other that close, you can see between all of them. But in defense of , you kind of hamstring the doctor a bit. You want to know if he has any issues without giving the doc the opportunity to fully be informed. well they honored my request for no x-rays and I am sure the fact that his father was livid about possible charges (which he called me and left a message that he has no money for it... hehe I expected that call and let it go to voicemail) helped in them keeping the cost low.

I did not know that the decay can start from inside and like I said I am not opposed to the x-ray in general, just not as a first step of action on his very first visit.

If you are able to, get some fluoride rinse (ACT) for him or make sure that his vitamins, if he takes them, have Fl- in them it will help prevent any further cavities. Hopefully they can fill it without any novacaine.

well his dad said he did great, he sat still and let them look and do. I hope he will do the same when he gets the filling. It's on the side of the tooth.

He eats a lot of calcium rich food so I think that helps with his teeth health as well.
I have to see if he will be able to do a rinse... he tends to swallow the water for rinsing.... he might do the same for a rinse.
But he also drinks a lot of water, not the bottled kind, just from the fridge... so he should be getting flouride through that as well.
Do you think he needs additional flouride?

Not a doctor just another type of medical nerd. :)

Pain is very subjective so it is usually difficult to say it is this or that via message board. I would see a doctor though, at the very least they can do a XRay. There is a diagnostic test called an EMG that can determine without a doubt if the median nerve (one involved in carpal tunnel) is compromised.

Aching pain that radiates from the wrist; is it primarily the underside (palm side) of the wrist and hand? How old are you, do you have diabetes? If this is too personal you can pm me.

it might take awhile for at&t to turn off your connection, someone might have to come out and remove or install a filter or something. same thing happened to me a few years ago with cablevision
