I forgot to add my lil part of my life.

The date tonight went great, we talked a lot, ate Mexican food, and smiled or laughed a lot. She is intelligent and lovely, a high school teacher, and has a 9 y/o daughter. This one seemed more honest and I came away with fewer questions.

I told the other via pm that " I said in the beginning that I am looking for a honest long term relationship, someone who I want to grow old with." She has since not replied to that IM.

no.. im medical. thats for the Homefinding Dept. however, we have spoken to the social worker about her, and they are having difficuties with this parent as well. we all pretty much have the same concerns and conclusions. they have already started looking for another placement, but can move them until the find someone able to take in 3 kids.

i dont think fp realized the magnitude of the responsibilty she was accepting. the lady prob looked competent in the screening process, but showed her true colors once the checks came in. HF are looking for some of the more seasoned fp's for a placement. however, i dont work in HF so i cant tell you the criteria for selection. HF does take our comment about fp's into acct because we have more dealing with clients. when fp's start maiking excuses for missing or canceling appts, a new home is sought immediately. the fp can then be charged with medical neglect.

when the placements do work, its amazing what happens to the kids. they begin to thrive and finally being to heal from the abuse they have suffered. the seasoned foster parents are great. they really to it for the good of the kids. the $ is a bonus.
