I do as well, I went through my, I am going to be a beatnik photographers phase in highschool. I took lots of "quadrents" type pictures and pictures of shadows. I was even in a short NYU art film in which I wore clown makeup and got into a fight with another guy in clown makeup over a bottle of whiskey, no seriously. What a douche.

Well I bring this up to you ladies because I talked about this last night.
I don't think I have ever been in love. I have been in what I thought was love about 4 times in my life. But the next time I'd fall in love, I look back and think that I wasn't really, I just thought I was.
I think my most recent love experience is the truest form of love. But even that, since I don't love her anymore, doesn't seem like it was real to me. Love is only true while you are in it, not after it.
This go for anyone else?

see, for me these material things never meant being in love. It was always a trust thing and I know I give trust to anybody until proven wrong (or terribly hurt)
But as I grow older I have to say that the whole being blindly in love thing seems not desirable any longer cause it makes you look over things that will ultimately end a relationship in the long run.

the most truest form of love is what I feel for my child. I know that it is not the kind of love one is supposed to feel between partners, lovers, wives and husbands... but so far it has been the only love I felt worth forgiving anything.

i loved my fiance unconditionally... he was amazing to me and a part of me will always love him for who he was to me for those years long ago. he is married now and we don't speak but i will always have love for him.
same with those i have loved in my more recent past. i had real feelings for them... and those don't just go away because it didn't work at the time. nothing can take that past away... and it will always be important to me as every experience helps shape who i am and who i become.

That's why I have to think I've never been in love then. There is no one that I feel for still. I care for every one I've ever known but I don't think I will love them after it ends. I'll only love the one I'm with like Stephen Stills and shit.

the material things don't represent love... they are just trinkets. but they are not bad things... they are nice ways of sharing with a partner. if it makes someone happy to give a gift... i see no issue with it.
and blind love is never healthy... but being able to love someone without condition and accept their faults is an amazing feeling. and though I may get my heart broken in the end, i don't think i could let myself pass over an opportunity to share my life with another person if it really felt right ...

It feels like our HS crush 20 years ago but on a much higher level. I feel I am truly lucky and that some of these feelings are ones that I have never felt with anyone else.

I'm in love. A striking love that I've never experienced before. Just when I thought that love was something that I might have missed forever I found what I have now. It's amazing. It makes my heart sing, sing like a southern choir that knows God. Love like this is rare, and so incredibly special. It was clearly evident and twice as reciprocated. It is a blessing and not to be scoffed at. It is wonderful and all engulfing. It will stand the test of time. Its the realization of every prophecy that was ever spoke.Fanfuckingtastic.

Hey Misti, how's your day?
meh... its been ok i guess... been spending a lot of time hauling charts back and forth all day. the bean counters declined my request for a medical chart cart for my data entry. berofre, the charts were behind me. now, the charts are literally on the other side of the building from where my desk is. but whatever... it will mean more movement for me.

Charts get heavy too, you just get more of a workout I guess . I hated when someone in our department had our cart when it was review time. The notebooks we use in research are huge and a real pain to lug around. I can certainly feel for you.
i keep having weird ron and fez dreams.
the last one i had i was held captive on a pirate ship and the only entertainment i was allowed was my xm radio but then it needed a code to listen to it but i couldnt get it because i was being held captive on a pirate ship so i ran around it and saw there was all sorts of technology on the ship but the pirates didnt understand technology because they were old pirates and only wanted to use oldy things.
i was not able to listen to ron and fez and it made me sad.

that's my main source of joy.

it's cathartic.

I have property 90 miles north of here that is mostly forest, I love being up there as it renews me. It is a lot of work maintaining it but well worth it. Maintaining the equipment like tractors also helps keep me busy.
I read, mainly on the computer but I love books mostly non-fiction. I also keep up to date with my prior field, psychology and neurology really piques my interest.
My family and friends keep me going, I visit them every week.
I tinker and love to build or repair things. Just built a computer this week for my best friend and wife. Plus I got to see their 2 year old daughter who melts my heart because I am her Rich. Her response to me always leaves me in awe.
I cook, I can't remember the last time I watched network TV, and movies are my other best friend.
I was volunteering but the VA makes my blood pressure rise dangerously so I only go for medical appointments now. When at home I have a nice health BP. I want to volunteer more.
I do play a few computer games, helps me to unwind at times.

your property must be a huge undertaking. but the thought of peacefulness out on an uncorrupted piece of land makes me long for a change of scenery.
i love living here but i have always wanted to leave.. even for a non-permanent period of time.
vegas seems the best idea... but i am waiting for my dad to find a new job before i commit.
oh ... and Foster... spandex is EVIL! i learned this in the early 90's.
spandex bike shorts?!!? what were we THINKING????

Spandex shorts were nice to wear under our shorts in the military when I ran. It kept things from bouncing and hurting, especially during a 6 mile run.
The property work is rewarding and I enjoy 99% of it, just amazing. I hunt but most of the time I just watch the animals (shhhh... don't tell the other men). I love seeing a sky full of stars, a camp fire, and the quiet. It beats living in the megatropolis of Houston. But then the city has it's conveniences.

I am off to the dentist this morning... better take out a small mortgage to get this shit fixed...
I bet they will offer me everything from root canals to crowns... and surgery to remove the wisdom tooth...
I don't hate the dentist, just the fact that it costs so much money and no insurance really covers it... hopefully the dental plan I bought will at least reduce it to half the cost

I was never afraid of the dentist... as a kid I used to make my own appointments even when I did not need them...lol
I guess I was not blessed with good genetics when it comes to my teeth (and ass) so no matter how good care I take of them they will quickly get cavities and break.
I know an old coworker of mine who did not have a single cavity in 40 years... he laughed at me when I had these major pains from a faulty root canal when we were in Switzerland... and not even a month after we got back he had to have surgery done on his teeth... and a root canal... LOL

Your ass is just fine. And I have had few cavities and the only surgery I had was to extract my wisdom teeth.
