After that beating, I decided it would be a good time to try and ski. I've done this maybe 6 times in my life, the last time had to be 15-20 years ago.

Got out of the water on my second attempt, stayed up about as long as I wanted to and hit some rough water in order do a nice face plant dismount.

So, the damage I can fell so far this morning: pulled groin, stiff neck, sore ass muscles, and sore muscles in the thumb of my right hand. I'm guessing tomorrow could be worse.

Ouch Dave! Man, I know how sore you must be and how much that sucks. I worked 3 days on my property with chainsawing, mowing some, brush eradication, and walked my ass off. I learned I was more out of shape than I thought. Time to exercise more.

next time just go for a nice ride on the lake, leave the skiing to the kids. Advil will help with the soreness and inflammation, as long as you take it every 4 hours.

Damn Dave, your a lot braver than me! I tried surfing many years ago, but I got frustrated quite quickly and just gave up. Now I'm afraid to attempt anything like that because I don't bend like I used to and really don't want to continue my lifelong streak of never breaking a bone. Take some Advil, it will help with the aches.

Very silly. Our utilities here in my town are crazy. Since we do not have our own landfill or water treatment they charge us out the ass. My least expensive utilities bill was $100 but that is the price to pay to live here I guess.

Today has cost me a lot of money. I woke up, took a shower and then Mike informed me we had a flood in the basement. Our yearly sewer stoppage paid us a visit. Just disgusting. But now it's fixed at least, and he also cleaned out a sink that was emptying slow. I tipped the guy $40, was that a goodly amount?

But we don't want to get rid of the trees because it looks like shit without them ( a lot of people in my neighborhood have ripped out the trees). I have heard that copper sulfate flushed down the drain on a monthly basis is supposed to keep the roots from coming into the sewer pipe so I think I am gonna give that a shot. It wasn't so bad when my dad was alive because he used to clean it out. But when he died his partner took all the good tools and I don't want to invest in a commercial snake. Plus at least if the piper cleaner guy fucks something up he is responsible. I'll do shit like replace a toilet, change a faucet and such but I know my limits and the sewer maintenance is one of those limits.

You can fix this without killing the trees. It would require a small investment though. What the can do is reroute your sewer pipe with new pipe that is a bit more resistant to roots. It does require a trench digger, some tearing up of the lawn, and likely some busting of your basement slab but it will pay off in the future.

i dont trust the girl as far as i can throw her and it makes me sad.

or the local schools....alex attended high school w/a baby mama who is on baby #3...katlyn (who is 13 for fucks sake) attended her middle school and shared a class with a preggers 13 yr old....no one @ school talked about it publicly, but she would come home and vent.

well in cases like this, the agency's religous affiliations and state law come into conflict.

because we are "medical care givers", state law trumps the company religious policy. we would refer the girl to an outside provider so that we still follow state reg as well as the company policy. i have a very small file on certain special providers. however, we cannot make the phone call to any facility. the girl has to do it and arrange her own appt.

the girl in this case is truly mentally unstable. she hasnt been on her psychotropics for about 6 months (not to mention she's preggo so she cant take them anyway). she is infected with syphilis and is dodging the DOH (they are literally hunting her down). she knows she's infected and she is still running around in the community having unprotected sex. also, the person she is blaming for infecting her has been in jail for quite some time so either she just doesnt know who infected her, or she's been infected for longer than she will admit.

i think she is still gonna carry this baby to term. the syphilis will have terrible effects on the child and will destory it even further. if by some miracle the baby does survive the delivery, the quality of life for that child will be terrible. babies with that condition dont last for long after birth and if they do, they are destined for a life of developmental delays.

The feels like here was 108 and it felt like it. I've been in the dessert with 132 degree heat but no humidity. I'd rather be in the dessert than here late July and August.
