Kennedy IS an ace - in Arizona!
he's definitely the closest thing oddly enough, but hardly a true ace by any standards
he's had one great year, followed by an ok one this year barely above .500 for only the second year of his career
yet indeed the closest thing since wins in zona don't come as easy when backed by the yank's bats in the reg season (Hughes/Joba)

Youre right Snoogans, I was referring to Spaniards
They have much different features than people from Latin America. For the most part they have European features with some being a bit darker due to the Iberian Peninsula being close to Africa. Many people from LatAm have mixed Indian/European aka Mestizo features. Go to some parts of Argentina and many have Italian and German last names, a lot came over from Europe during Fascism/Nazism
Without veering off too far in Brasil they speak a dialect of Portuguese
Gasol looks European to me

Mitt lost by a landslide and he's not going to be president. I would think you and a lot of people here would be happy but it seems like the sentiment is that it wasn't good enough that he lost and got leveled
I'm not going to speculate who you or anyone else voted for. I wanted Obama gone and GJ in but I have a better chance of banging Carrie Ann Inaba
Mitt is a private citizen. Can you at least be happy about that? Cheer up

However Obama has done much damage in public office. When I saw those jubilant people on TV tuesday night at the Victory celebration on TV I witnessed a lot people who probably know nothing about the patriot act and NDAA. No idea about the continued failure in Afghanistan. Ignorance on QE3 , an ignorance of declining personal wealth for the average family by over $4000
To say that the GOP relies on low information voters is very true, However the Obama campaign relied on the same and did a masterful job of getting 332 EV's
Now the top 10 states by education belongs to the democrats. However if someone has a degree in Lesbian Poetry and doesnt know what the federal reserve is or what QE3 is, then what good is that degree in regards to the overall state of the nation?

For the past 24 months, the media has spent a lot of time explaining how Obama's administration was essentially unable to pass policy because not only was congress and the house actively working against it but also that the American people were also against his policy. The press pushed an agenda that silenced the majority in favor of the loudest members of our society.
The truth is that the U.S. public was against the conservative policies that were given the lion-share of the media's attention. People may have misgivings about the Affordable Care Act, but they also think there should be an affordable alternative to employer-subsidized health insurance. The growing immigrant populations generally don't believe in the narrative of the lone individual who pulls himself up by the bootstraps and makes something of himself. Now that the people who support Obama realize they are in the majority, they are going to fight against they people they previously thought had outnumbered them.
I live in the area of Illinois where Tammy Duckworth defeated the radical Joe Walsh for control of the 8th district. If you looked around the 8th district before the election the Joe Walsh signage outnumbered Tammy Duckworth signage almost 20 to 1. Even with the polls showing Duckworth in the lead it was difficult for Democrats like me to believe that she could take the election.
As I drove around the Chicago area, the signage for Mitt Romney was everywhere. The Obama stickers and t-shirts that were ubiquitous 4 years ago were gone.
The thing that these past four years has taught me is that liberals have the integrity to hit the streets when they are dissatisfied with their president. On the other hand the conservatives, who took a nap for eight years while George Jr. wrecked the government's budget surplus through wrong-headed tax breaks and our international reputation by starting wars that the majority of the international community (not just the UN veto states) thought were built on a platform of nonsense, hit the streets only after the black guy got into the White House.
Now that the smoke has cleared, we are going to hit the streets to make certain that we can get the most out of the guy we elected. Many of us had to bite our tongues for two years. Forgive us for returning fire.

People, like myself, aren't all in on actually blaming Obama for everything you do, like personal wealth and the economy no matter how much you like to rail against him for it. He didn't start this recession, any war and has to dig out and make changes that actually get implemented before we attack him for any of this. Even the shit he did get through, most hasn't either been implemented yet, or hasn't had much time to take effect overall.
The Afgan war and Lybia are nothing more than fucking bullshit talking points for the right and you keep both alive. We're on our way out, helped Lybia the right way in their revolt and the loss of life there was tragic but let's stop acting like it's Obama's fault and shut the fuck up. It's CLEARLY not resonating outside of the GOP circles bc people are rational, but why would this be any different than the polls on the election for the emperor has no clothes party. And even though I hate the pat act and ndaa, I can't solely blame him at this point unless he continues these policies in the second term. I fully expect many things to be different this term, but we'll see.

Very solid rundown, and I agree on most. The key difference I see is Obama care was more desired at the start of the debate and before it was put into place, and to be honest most wanted more aggressive changes and a public option. It was the noise to bad mouth this plan since day one and the meticulous breakdown of it day by day that the Dems seemingly just allowed and eventually it became less popular based on bullshit breakdowns alone.
The GOP is very good at getting people to vote against their own best interest, and the dems are pussies when fighting for their causes bc they constantly worry about their next election. Have views, stick to them and be fucking LOUD about them bc they are true and good for the majority. I'm so sick of the dems being pushovers when they are on the correct side of a policy debate or vote.

Afghanistan isn't just some talking point . Our military has taken more casualties under this president. 2 Billion is spent each week for what?
Bin Laden lured this country into the Muslim world and as a result trillions have been spent there and hundreds of billions spent domestically just to give us some false sense of security and whatever talking points Obama says about Al Qaeda being decimated is laughable

I agree what a lot of what you're saying about the Bush admin policies.
In regards to Duckworth I am not in your district but I remember Walsh making some dick bag comments about Duckworths military service and that might be a factor as well especially her being a combat vet and being a double amputee. Pissing on that service doesn't go well with voters
I think a lot of people who voted for Obama want him to go hard left and many were upset when there was no public option or when he caved into extending the tax rates for 2 years
Now if the rates go up would you believe people will get frustrated if a deal is made in which the threshold is 1 million per year instead of 250k?

Maybe we should follow Mexico's lead. One and done. Their president is only allowed to serve a 6 year term. In the US usually 2nd terms dont take too kindly to presidents. While the Petraeus scandal doesn't involve Obama directly, It's already a distraction (Even though the 2nd term doesnt officially begin until 1/21)
If it was only a 1 term deal, then the president wouldnt have to take time away to campaign and raise a billion dollars and visit states numerous times. I think Obama went to Ohio at least 20 times.
That would require a constitutional amendment.

One of his major agendas is to raise taxes on the top 2%. Please answer this. Would it be a letdown to you if rates went up for people making over 1mm instead of the threshold of 250k?
The only way I'm ok with this is if there is some COLA adjustment out there. As in 250k in most of the country is still taxed higher, but in NYC/SF and other expensive areas that line is driven up by COLA calculations as it should. Living in Kentucky and NJ are NOT the same as 250 is a LOT less out here.
And where the fuck do you come up with your bullshit? Do I really think Obama will be left of Stalin? Where did you even spark this line of thought, and what the fuck do you think? :wallbash:

Maybe we should follow Mexico's lead. One and done. Their president is only allowed to serve a 6 year term. In the US usually 2nd terms dont take too kindly to presidents. While the Petraeus scandal doesn't involve Obama directly, It's already a distraction (Even though the 2nd term doesnt officially begin until 1/21)
If it was only a 1 term deal, then the president wouldnt have to take time away to campaign and raise a billion dollars and visit states numerous times. I think Obama went to Ohio at least 20 times.
That would require a constitutional amendment.
I would say this isn't a bad idea, yet there are issues with it overall. Bottom line is elections/campaigns are out of control, but pacs and spending is the place to start, and at least the Presidential office already does have limits. We need Senate and Congressional limits first.
This ones for Epo. I saw that Wisconsin elected the nations 1st openly gay female senator. I think her name is Tammy Baldwin. Whaddya think? Will she be better than Feingold?
I can't think of a more different pair of Senators in the nation than the Baldwin/Johnson combo from Wisconsin.
Personally I like Tammy. She's soft-spoken but really smart. She will like be quiet, yet effective in the mode of Herb Kohl.
Now we await Feingold's potential return in 2016.

I wouldnt mind 2 terms as a senator and 6 for the house so theres a total of 12 years for each respective chamber
In a swing district, Im sure congressmen and women need to start campaigning more than a year ahead due to their terms of being only 2 years.
Someone in a safe district like Pelosi, Waters dont have to campaign much because they will always get a high percentage of votes.
I know some people say the best way of term limits is voting however that defeats the purpose when people like John Dingell and Charlie Rangel have been in DC for over 40 years

You know what? In a way I wouldn't mind seeing Boehner and McConnell just stepping out of the way and give Obama everything he wants. Fuck it , If Obama comes out and wants to nationalize oil companies, implement full single payer healthcare , put back in the fairness doctrine or whatever else is on his wish list , just agree with everything and when things really go to shit Obama can't blame it on Bush, The GOP , the Yankees , a youtube video or whoever he wants to pass the buck to. Let him own the motherfucker, maybe just maybe people will finally see past his scheme of he's for the average guy
When has Obama advocated/pressed for any of those things? And why would he do that now? The Republicans will just ignore him for two years, because the 2016 stuff starts then and it doesn't matter any more.

However spending 2 billion a week to hand out trinkets to Pashtun children and sip tea with tribal elders only to get shot by their sons take precedence
Throw in about 5 billion combined trying to buy friends in Israel and the Arab Middle east and North Africa

I read where the teamsters agreed to the concessions but the bakers Confectionery, Tobacco and Grain Millers were the ones who called for the strike.
It's not all on the union, Mgmt needs to take accountability for allowing more than 300 different collective bargaining agreements and redundancy like for example bread and cupcakes for example going on separate trucks even though they went to the same destination. Maybe that should have been part of the last bankruptcy. consolidate operations and wages/pensions etc.
It was a mutual downfall.

As far as your other replies. You link me in with these strawmen but they are the same ones who can't wait for a war with Iran. Does my tone bother you? If so I dont give a damn. I'm presenting all these other factors and you dismiss me as someone who agrees 100% with the republicans and it shows your ignorance

This President has been in office for almost 4 years and it has spiraled out of control in regards to Afghanistan so yes he takes blame and accountability. Hes the President. He's the CinC !!!! Furthermore our troops could have been already out. His surge in Afghanistan failed and as a result higher casualty rates and no end in sight as long as we are there. There could have been an exit plan implemented to have our men out of there by now.
Clinton kept using the word arithmetic. Heres another word. HISTORY!!!!!
Alexander the great, The Brits, the Soviets and now the US all failed in Afghanistan.
We are stuck there until 2014 because of that SOFA, So that means another couple hundred billion dollars for what? Afghanistan is a corrupt country, Most of the country wants us out of there and what purpose do we need to have 75K troops there? Then I hear constantly every day by the president and his shills that they need revenue. You should have not signed a SOFA that would piss away another few hundred billion dollars along with the interest owed fucktards
Your Obsession with labeling me as some talker for the right is delusional when I have said numerous times that I disagree with many of their policies. Its almost like you are trying to make some new person up say like WFake or something like that.

Fucking hilarious:
Florida Rep. Allen West’s reelection prospects grew dimmer Sunday, as a recount of early ballots showed him falling further behind his Democratic opponent.
Democrat Patrick Murphy, a 29-year-old construction company executive, gained 242 votes after the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections completed its re-tabulation, increasing his lead to more than 2,100 votes over West, a tea party hero. Murphy’s lead is just outside the 0.5 percent margin that would trigger an automatic district-wide recount under Florida law.
West won a legal battle Friday when the office’s canvassing board decided to re-tally all early votes that had been cast. The Republican had argued that those votes had been accidentally double-counted on election night and provided a winning margin to Murphy.
But with Murphy’s margin growing after the recount, West’s legal options appeared to narrow. With St. Lucie County having a noon deadline Sunday for certifying its election results, Murphy’s campaign argued that the election was effectively over. Florida has a Tuesday deadline for certifying the results from all three counties that make up the 18th Congressional District.

Please, Allen West, go the fuck away. Your district decided they didn't want a nutjob representing them. That's all there is to it.

So The highest honored Nobel Prize winner Dr Paul Krugman had an article about 1950's tax rates and the marginal top rate of 91% and how he would welcome that.
The Good professor failed to put in his article that spending in percent to GDP was much lower than today, There was no Medicare and there was no great society. The Modern welfare state didnt exist. Also there were a lot more deductions back then so the effective rate was much lower when including deductions.
Krugman, Americas other favorite Keynesian tried to gin up the troops and possibly start some quasi media explosion and he might get enough people to latch on to his half truths.
Boehner if he had a set should tell Obama. You want Clinton era rates? I want Clinton era spending in writing and not some promise to cut it over 10 years.
I dont see that happening. Obama and the Dems are going to trounce him
Government spending is tied to the number of citizens and GDP. If you have more citizens and more business, spending must account for the increase.
Unless you want to shut down businesses and execute citizens, you're going to have to increase spending. You can't have your legal system, FDA, roads and police and eat your cake too.

the deficit doesn't matter because the cornerstone of global economics is American sovereign debt
if there's no American sovereign debt, there's no global economy, because it feeds off of said debt. It's literally the bedrock of every single economic function of the world
It doesn't have to do with the GOP. What reserve banks? The Federal reserve? There are no reserves, just Fiat currency with no backing. Its just becoming worthless paper.
Theres no SS Fund. Thats been raided, the money has been spent. Its just a collection of IOU's.
The continued practice of structural debt and deficit fueled by keynesian practices can not be sustained. You can print all of the money you want and monetize the debt but that has a cost.
The dollar can not continue to be the reserve currency with the structural debt/deficit and not have a reckoning.
So why is the debt an issue? Everyone says it is, but doesn't actually articulate the issue. It's just "America has this much debt, and it's bad because" while ignoring things like fiat currency and 3% unemployment being "full" employment or the nature of a mixed market economy
The debt is just the newest culmination of Atwater. You may or may not have seen it in the news, but if not, here he is discussing things:
"You start in 1954 by saying ‘Nigger, nigger, nigger.’ By 1968 you can’t say ‘Nigger.’ That hurts you. It backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states rights and all that stuff and you get so abstract. Now you talk about cutting taxes and these things you’re talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that’s part of it. I’m not saying that. But I’m saying that if it is getting that abstract and that coded, we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. Obviously sitting around saying we want to cut taxes and we want this, is a lot more abstract than even the busing thing and a hell of a lot more abstract than nigger nigger. So anyway you look at it, race is coming on the back burner."
The 47% comment is just the newest "nigger, nigger, nigger"
The deficit talk is just the newest "nigger, nigger, nigger"
People act like they don't want to admit they're part of society, that they're some ubermensch that is just being held down by the "takers" when they don't realize they themselves are takers. We all take from civilization, but we make it happen by paying our dues.
The stereotypical black person in the middle of the city dealing drugs is making profits happen for the people involved in the war on drugs. Their relatives in jail, they're helping to make profit happen for private prisons. They're the bottom rung, the people that are exploited for labor or as a boogeyman for the public.
The stereotypical ultra-rich white guy depends on public schools to provide consumers for the product his business creates, depends on public roads to allow quick shipment, the legal system to protect patents or copyrights or trademarks, the judicial system to keep the aforementioned black people out of his neighborhood. The military to keep open shipping lanes, to operate two multi-billion dollar carrier battle groups to keep the Hormuz free and clear and create stability in the oil market even though we don't draw shit from that region any more. Or border patrol, to funnel workers toward migrant worker visas to pick our crop for cheap. Or the factory worker impacted by free trade, he has to have medicaid because the race to the bottom prevents him from having a living wage. Those people have to be taken care of so they don't start a revolt or uprising. The same way the Democrats enable labor unions but both parties prevent the formation of worker's unions, again, for fear of a disruption of the capitalist system.
Sure it's a bit tinfoil, but you have to understand that the debt is there for a reason and the GOP isn't going to scale it back. No President of the post-agrarian era has held any real year-to-year budget surplus. How is that going to change all of a sudden? Did the GOP promise and cross their heart and hope to die that this time they're actually going to do something about the deficit, despite not actually having done anything about the deficit in the past century?
Hint: it's goddamn not. Vote Republican because "nigger, nigger, nigger" and vote Democrat because "poor, poor, poor"
Both parties are out there to fuck someone for the benefit of the rich, they just re-arrange who they're going to bend over.

I happen to agree with him on some foreign policy / civil liberties issues but he makes Barack look like a neo con
Sanders is to the left of Marx but at least he's honest about it I'll give him that
Sanders is a social democrat, which is to the right of Marx. Marxism, generically speaking, requires the workers to own the means of production and private property to be abolished. I don't think Sanders has ever really proposed that.
Also, how is single payer communism? Again, private property is still there and doctors are still petit-bourgeoisie for the most part. Plus, it's difficult to argue that capital doesn't want single payer. Businesses are, or were, virtually required to provide healthcare to attract and retain employees. Our system is inferior to all industrialized nations in terms of cost and in terms of preventable loss of life.

Norman Thomas.
Sanders subscribes to a lot of the pillars of communism for example a progressive income tax. In regards to single payer it makes the government the one setting prices. Hence price control. Control price, control the people.
Now in regards to private property since the docs are defacto gov't employees. What if they want to expand their practice or buy a building for expanded services. They will need permission from the government
Now, This country doesnt have just a welfare and entitlement problem. There's also the fetish of militarism and occupation in which BOTH parties fantasize over. Intervention and a giant expanded police state to make people feel they are secure when in fact they dont realize their civil liberties get chipped away.

Post-Red Scare 1 & 2, yeah, that comment is spot on. The history of populism in the America is still strong and is still strong today, but the messaging has changed because of the illegal acts of the government during both the Red Scares.
Sanders subscribes to a lot of the pillars of communism for example a progressive income tax. In regards to single payer it makes the government the one setting prices. Hence price control. Control price, control the people.
Progressive income tax isn't a pillar of communism. Progressive income tax is a pillar of a mixed market economy, the current economic styling of America.
Furthermore, single payer doesn't control price. Single payer removes private industry from insuring citizens because insurance becomes cheaper the larger the pool of insured. No health insurer can compete with the lower overheard from lack of bureaucracy, advertising and the lack of profit motive. Plus, being as insuring someone while also being concerned with their well-being can cause a type of moral hazard in which lack of action represents greater profit, especially in the final 5 years of someone's life.
Now in regards to private property since the docs are defacto gov't employees. What if they want to expand their practice or buy a building for expanded services. They will need permission from the government
They already do now? There's registration, licensing and other regulatory issues with that because America isn't Somalia and you don't have people practicing medicine without oversight. America isn't a free market and hasn't ever been a free market since the first colonies. It's a mixed market economy and the government, be it the crown, the confederation or republic has always played a significant role in the market.
On top of that, you're confusing single payer with nationalized healthcare. They're two wildly different implementations, it's like comparing a bunt with a sacrifice fly. Sure they move the baserunner but no one is going to say they're the same thing.
Now, This country doesnt have just a welfare and entitlement problem. There's also the fetish of militarism and occupation in which BOTH parties fantasize over. Welfare and entitlements are there because of the "full employment" of capitalism requiring unemployment. People had to be paid to do nothing because not everyone can ever be employed, otherwise businesses are incapable of growing.

Its the 2nd pillar of Communism. Furthermore the country survived for well over 100 years without a progressive income tax.
Furthermore, single payer doesn't control price. Single payer removes private industry from insuring citizens because insurance becomes cheaper the larger the pool of insured. No health insurer can compete with the lower overheard from lack of bureaucracy, advertising and the lack of profit motive. There isnt overhead on a government level? There are going to be much more administrators etc and the overhead, administrative costs will eventually skyrocket due to levels of bureaucracies, redundancy etc that will inhibit R&D
They already do now? There's registration, licensing and other regulatory issues with that because America isn't Somalia and you don't have people practicing medicine without oversight. Sure there are registrations and licensing. It's the same with people who want to practice law, but thats at a state level. Having a 1 size top down centrally planned system is not the way to go no ones advocating for Anarchy so the Somalia comparison is an extreme to the opposite side
On top of that, you're confusing single payer with nationalized healthcare. They're two wildly different implementations, it's like comparing a bunt with a sacrifice fly. Sure they move the baserunner but no one is going to say they're the same thing.
In a perspective they are the same because there are sets of rules and regulations originating from Washington DC
Welfare and entitlements are there because of the "full employment" of capitalism requiring unemployment. People had to be paid to do nothing because not everyone can ever be employed, otherwise businesses are incapable of growing.
Sure there can never be total 100% total employent unless there are millions of people just digging holes and filling them up, That would be the gov'ts definition

Its the 2nd pillar of Communism. Furthermore the country survived for well over 100 years without a progressive income tax.
Have you ever read Capital? Because there's quite a bit on there that explains how Marx saw taxes as a way to control workers. Yes, ladies and germs, Marx was ~*anti-tax*~
Mainly because the actual "pillar of communism" is dissolution of private property and wages.
There isnt overhead on a government level? There are going to be much more administrators etc and the overhead, administrative costs will eventually skyrocket due to levels of bureaucracies, redundancy etc that will inhibit R&D
There's overhead, but there is far less. Medicare pays pennies on the dollar in overhead whereas private enterprise pays over a dime on the dollar in overhead. I don't know how single-payer will inhibit R&D because right now, government and university grants are the ones paying for R&D. Learning about things isn't profitable, and it has always been the role of government to advance society as such.
In a perspective they are the same because there are sets of rules and regulations originating from Washington DC
The end result is identical -- the public taking control of its own health instead of depending on business to provide for them.
Sure there can never be total 100% total employent unless there are millions of people just digging holes and filling them up, That would be the gov'ts definition
The government's definition is 3%, but when they tried digging holes and filling them up we had the WPA, which private industry hated because it reduced possible future profits.
Socialists are people who still believe that capitalism has a use, communists are people who believe that capitalism has no use.

Did you read the communist Manifesto? Marx advocated for taxation. From each to each. Remember that quote?

But whats reported in overhead? Gov't always manipulates numbers and metrics . There really isnt a number that can be reported because theres always revisions upwards or downwards
The end result is identical -- the public taking control of its own health instead of depending on business to provide for them.
When you say the public its really the government because they are controlling it

Yet when a guy steps down due to these issues, it does look bad to go at him. So WF, are you saying it's a sham and he's using the issues as a scapegoat to step down for that reason vs the investigations and issues of the past?
Looks like Hillary will take credit for this phony cease fire btwn the Jews and Arabs.
All this really means is that Hamas will stock up on rockets for the next attack
They didn't stock up on them now, they apparently never launched any Fajr rockets, only the unguided pipebombs. They won't need them next time as world opinion is changing against Israel and pretty soon they'll be at the UN. Once that happens, there will be more to keep Gaza and Palestine from becoming isolated ghettos of Arabs and Israel won't be able to use the scare of rocket attacks to avoid admitting their domestic problem. The Palestinians won't be able to keep hardliners from launching rocket attacks but when there's more stability, there will be less hardliners.
and there was never going to be a land invasion because it's wildly unpopular even in Israel, the only support would have been possibly from the American public. Hamas was worried about firing a rocket and causing multiple casualties too, so, both sides were just going through the motions for the past few days while they waited for Egypt to sort out whatever they needed to sort out.
I think like what, 100 or so Palestinians died and a handful of Israelis but if you want to attach value to death, they're some of the most valuable deaths the region has seen. Egypt isn't the puppet state of America any more and the UN-backed Palestine will put some weight behind anything to condemn Israel or Palestinian partisans attacking occupiers.
isn't the guy struggling with severe mental problems/depression?

My issue is why didnt he bow out of the race before the election? He had these issues for a couple of months. There would have been time for a replacement candidate. Its only a congressional district. Now its going to cost more money for a special election.
The Voters shouldn't get off so easy. They elected someone who was not mentally stable to hold office, be part of budget meetings/committees etc. But then again I expected them to re elect him. Hell the voters put back in Marion Barry to the DC City council.

How have the Democrats helped blacks? Now the GOP with all their baggage does not want them back in the fields picking cotton or tobacco.
Look at places like Detroit, Gary Indiana, Camden etc. Voting Democrat for decades and look where it has gotten them.
So who is to blame Whitey? Or should more money be spent on these massive federal entitlement programs? Its the Democrats mostly who practice soft bigotry anf the mantra of low expectations. Not just for blacks but for poor people in general. No ones opposed to aiding the needy, however they should be lifted out of it and the federal gov't has done a horrible job. About 20 trillion in inflated adjusted dollars since 1964 alone.
Your argument "look where it has gotten them" is pretty silly, considering the reasons cities like Gary have fallen into high poverty rates. It has more to do with America's capitalist demagogues who have somehow convinced this country that our growth as individuals will be directly tied to the growth of their bottom line.... oh, then by the way, left cities like Gary and Detroit when it became more profitable for a small group of people to do so - completely destroying the economies in those places.
Think past party lines. Government endorsed corporatism is the problem.

What's wrong about saying black?
If you want to be technical, Someone from Egypt who emigrated here could be considered African American
It's wrong because you're ignoring all other motivating factors that would lead black people to vote democrat or republican and basing it solely on race. As if they have no other defining characteristic.

I agree with the corporatism and thats why I didnt vote for Obama or Romney. Since you brought up Gary. Gary Johnson ran against corporatism against bailouts and corporate welfare.
Nothing wrong with capitalism, It's crony capitalism that is the problem.
Big business loves big government
While I don't disagree with your point on corporatism. It's the continued massive federal spending along with the trillions of dollars which have kept blacks in generational poverty. This has kept them at a disadvantage while making politicians, corporations, economists and people who measure these stats and metrics richer. The politicians work with the corporations and its a massive money maker.

Blacks dont vote on race itself. They vote overwhelming on party lines and its been for the democrats for decades.
Black Republican vs White democrat. The blacks will vote for the white democrat

Probably because black Republicans tend to be like Alan Keyes and run on a platfrom of dismantling affirmative action and all other anti-discrimination measures.
Look, when one party runs on a platform that demonizes and scapegoats the race you're a member of, it's not "racism" to vote in your self-interest there. Thats' what the Republican Party must figure out, and get rid of the "Southern Stategy" once and for all. But since the election, they've doubled-down on the stupidity that lost them this election.

Congressman Torn Between Meaningless Pledge To Anti-Tax Zealot, Well-Being of Nation (http://www.theonion.com/articles/congressman-torn-between-meaningless-pledge-to-ant,30539/)
WASHINGTON—Amid ongoing negotiations in Congress over the looming “fiscal cliff,” Rep. Tom Reed (R-NY) told reporters Wednesday he is “completely torn” between his commitment to conservative activist Grover Norquist’s meaningless anti-tax pledge and the general welfare of the entire country. “On the one hand, you have a nonsensical promise to blindly oppose tax increases regardless of circumstances, but on the other, you have the well-being of more than 300 million people and the long-term stability of the entire U.S. economy,” said Reed, adding that he is “really stuck between a rock and a hard place” now that he must decide between his loyalty to a dogmatic political lobbyist and his responsibility to serve the best interests of his constituents. “At the end of the day, it’s a question of whether a nonbinding signature on an outdated and worthless pledge written 26 years ago is more important than preventing the nation from completely going to hell. I just don’t know what to do here.” When reached for comment, Norquist urged the pledge’s signatories in Congress to “remember what’s really important” before sacrificing utterly irrational principles for the sake of the country’s future.

How would one get that tattoo? I mean, I can't see it be done when your flaccid and when your erect I imagine the bleeding would be far too profuse. And when would the full image be seen? When you're at rest or when you're excited? I have so many questions about dick tattoos.

The closest thing to that was there was a kid I went to high school whose father was named "Wendell" as a baby after Wendell Wilkie. The kid, a junior, then also inherited that name.

You are correct that the voters in Michigan did not enshrine collective bargaining rights within their constitution. However that does not justify that batshit insane Governor for attempting to pass right-to-work (for less) legislation.
