I had the best day I can remember having ever. I spent the first part of the day with LaBoob, came home and cooked, then I won a cool hundey in my superbowl pool, and spent some time with some great friends of mine. Sweet.

I kind of wanted to spend time tonight with my friends but their little ones really like me to play and I did not want to get them sick. He also tends to get nose bleeds cause of his very sensitive membranes and sinus issues but is dad claims he NEVER has them at his house... well he clearly had them yesterday cause when he came home his nose was crusty... yet his father insists it only happens at my house almost as if to play a blame game when it is not about that at all.
So of course he says Lukas was fine all weekend when in fact he was not towards the end of the week and I had asked him to give him cold meds...
but by sheer miracle the boy was healthy as an ox at this house and only gets sick when home in my care (according to his dad)
Pisses me off to no end cause when I go to the doc I cannot give him the full info on the progress of his getting sick... and I can't tell if he is truly getting sicker or actually better...

Anyway, I have to give him a bath now and get him to bed. His tv show is almost over.

Lukas has been dragging a cold for a while now.. and since I don't know how he truly was over the weekend and his dumb ass father supposedly gave him meds but never took his temperature or anything I rather have him checked out. His congestion has turned to a sore throat and he is coughing phlegm so while it is good that it is lose I rather have them check that his lungs are clear. He also was up at 4 am this morning.

the factory is here in Easton but the museum part is more of a hands on thing, with all kinds of arts and crafts where they can play and try out all crayola products and learn about the canals in the national canal museum.
In the summer you can take a fake trolley from there to the real canal, take the canal boat which is pulled by mules and go to the little canal museum there at the park.

Kat, here in Houston and Dallas public transportation was an after thought. This is because Houston began as the Republic of Texas' capital then became the energy capital of the states. Because we were "fueled" by oil and gas everyone had cars or horses so there was no need for public transportation (and likely politics too). Dallas followed suit, and for Texas is our international city once termed the center of America. Thank you Texas history books for teaching me something.

Yea, I have treated many a patient with sinus infections. For me though I just let it run it's course because I am already on a crazy amount of medication and the last thing I want is to add another.

and it works well. my mom told me to do the same and the doc also said it, except for he told me to do it twice a day.

Well, my chicken spaghetti turned out a bit better than expected but I had an oh shit moment. My favorite glass pot, one that I have used to make cheese dip for over 10 years decided to blow up on my stove top and send boiling water everywhere. i carry vaseline in the little container in my bag all the time. (back when people used the 36mm film cameras more often, i used to put some vaseline in the little black film rolls) i hated the stuff growing up, but ever since i started mixing a small amt with my face and bodycream, my skin has been super soft :happy:
