I had a few extra minutes before I had to leave for work so I started to wash a pot that was in the sink. The soap pump was all clogged so when I hit it I got sprayed with soap. I guess my shirt is still clean because it's soap.

I'm not proud that I didn't watch the Super Bowl. But I am amazed by the look of utter bewilderment when I tell people that I didn't watch it. I don't give a fuck about football.

It's a double edged sword. If I didn't like football I'm sure I would be driven absolutely nuts by football fans. I pretty much hate them already. But oddly enough I probably wouldn't watch the entire football game if it wasn't so hyped, I only jump in and out of non eagles playoff games.

I stopped wearing big winter coats years ago. They just weren't practical when getting in and out of my car so often. When it's really cold, I wear a good thermal shirt under a regular shirt, and a surprisingly warm lined fleece jacket. Unless I'm not moving around much, it keeps me plenty warm most of the time.

I just made the mistake of watching it, and I'm officially frightened. A huge part of this show happened practically just outside my house. No wonder my dog barks so much at random times in the middle of the nigh! :unsure:

Maglites have not been used by most agencies for years, and it's not because they can be used as weapons, it's because there are better products available. When the average weight of a duty belt is around 35 pounds with the various pieces of equipment that are fairly new to law enforcement, a gigantic heavy flashlight just doesn't make sense. Most officers carry smaller lithium lights, and have a larger rechargeable Streamlight in the vehicle, which is fairly light compared to the ancient Maglite. Another reason why Maglites aren't carried any more is that it is a terrible, weak product with poor design that is better suited as a stocking stuffer for a pudgy man-cave dad who might use it once a year. But to say that maglites were taken away from LAPD because they could be used as weapons is silly. Wouldn't they take the OC, Taser, Expandable Baton (which is far more effective for cracking skulls than a gay maglite that will break a bulb the second it isn't carried around like a newborn), sidearm, AR-15, Shotgun, and vehicle, all of which can be used as weapons? If they somehow could articulate that the maglite was dangerous to use as a weapon, they would just exclude it from their Use of Force policy, making any officer using it as a weapon during a non-deadly force contact subject to termination and civil liability up the ol' wazoo.

Mine's just the Razr Maxx, they had a deal around Christmas where it was free with a contract renewal, I'd had my Droid X for 2 years, and the wife had her Droid 2 for the same amount of time, so we both got one. I don't use the phone for that much video, so for free, I gave up the HD, it is a great phone and the battery lasts a long time. My only regret is that in order to switch to a 4G phone I had to give up my unlimited data plan. Bastards, that's where they get you.
So when proper beach weather arrives I'll have to take my Inno to the beach instead of listening to R&F thru my phone app.

I received a call this morning with an offer from an old business acquaintance to start at a new production studio he and his partners are opening.
