I've definitely 'obscured' the box of stuff that I'm drinking from both my dads wife who dumps crazy amounts of cream and sugar into her coffee and my brother's girlfriend who is a notorious makes a cup, takes one sip and then leaves it somewhere and forgets she had it.

I feel sorry for some people, after reading their posts in the listening thread, about workplace inequality. As much as big corporations can suck, the one I work for seems to have pretty much zero problems, when it comes to vacations, family leave, promotions, etc for women, minorities, or English cigarettes.

I think the size of the company makes a big difference. When I worked at the library, it was difficult to get a day off just because there weren't enough people to take over. If you work at a bigger place, there would be plenty of employees to cover your spot.

I'm bourgeois vous:
Your habits and perspectives most resemble those of upper-middle-class Americans. Though members of this group are not the most accurate judges of others' emotions, they do have a high faith in people's basic decency, and a commitment to raising healthy, curious, and imaginative children. Your people eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, eschew cigarettes, and live in homes full of books. You have vast and eclectic tastes in music, which likely exclude country, gospel, rap, and heavy metal. In fact, you identify so strongly with your own individual tastes, that you may resent it a bit when friends impinge upon your discoveries.

The pot smokers were WAY better employees. All I had to do was let them smoke pot, and eat candy toppings. They'd do anything I asked. The hot chicks were very high maintenance, but they helped with the concept of increased sales in a mall setting.

My results, I don't think it's very spot-on though:
MIDDLING
Your habits and perspectives most resemble those of middle-class Americans. Members of this group tend to be gentle and engaging parents, and if they're native English speakers they probably use some regional idioms and inflections. Your people are mostly college-educated, and you're about equally likely to beg children not to shout "so loudly" as you are to ask them to "read slow" during story time. You're probably a decent judge of others' emotions, and either a non-evangelical Christian, an atheist, or an agnostic. A typical member of this group breastfeeds for three months or less, drinks diet soda, and visits the dentist regularly. If you're a member of this group, there's a good chance that you roll with the flow of technological progress and hate heavy metal music

My wife got that as well. The individual parts are hit/miss but the overall assessment is pretty good. She also mocked me mercilessly for my class since I've always given her shit for her privileged upbringing.
LIVING LARGE
Your habits and perspectives most resemble those of upper-class Americans. This small slice of society tends to feel the least bound by the legal and moral rules observed by other Americans. You are very likely to make charitable donations of money, but unlikely to donate more than 1% of your income. You are the most open to change and the most game for a stressful challenge, as well as the healthiest, the most highly educated, and the most technologically savvy. You speak good literary English and avoid sugary drinks. On the downside, your people are the least-attuned to others' emotions. But, when you interact with equals or those who outrank you, your latent emotional intelligence rises to the challenge.

I was about to take this test, but the first question has me wondering about the intent of the test.
1. Think of a vehicle that really appeals to you – maybe a specific car, boat, or bike you've seen. Now imagine (or remember) finally getting one of your own. The next day, you learn that a friend has treated herself to the same new toy. How, in all honesty, do you feel?
Why did they say "herself"? Is this test intended for women, or is a psychological ploy?

You can see how some of the questions are weighted. The test thinks that because I can afford organic veggies I can also afford a boat. I'm just single with no kids or property debt, so yes I have a higher percent of disposable income than average but that doesn't reflect my net income.

It's not just about wealth, it's about thoughts, values and your outlook on the world.
"How do you feel about gospel music? Pedestrian crosswalks? Humanity in general? Your social class is more complex than your salary or your educational pedigree.
This quiz is based on polling data and peer-reviewed research from an array of academic fields which have explored how socioeconomic status helps shape our inner and social lives.
No data set, of course, can account for all of the experiences that make your perspective unique, and some of these questions will reflect your own circumstances more precisely than others – but answer all of them as well as you can."

With a quick look at the test, it gives two options for each question, and differing levels of how you feel either way. The other test gives some scenarios that give you absolutely no way of answering honestly.

they are silly and just goofy fun, but PB is right
there were PLENTY throughout this test that when given the choices you can end up going, "nothing is right so I'll go with this one". It's like the political polls you get too…I end up saying neither to questions and they say "pick one" and I simply won't so quizz over. It'll end up being you either LOVE someone's policy, or you HATE it and want the person out of whatever office they're in. Usually the truth or answer is not so extreme, but that's how everything get tagged of late, polar extremes and that's why there is no compromise, healthy debate or simple discussion. It's all blame the other side, hate everything they do and anything that happened of late or in the past, bc of their take. Look forward and find common ground…move on.

I didn't see anything you couldn't answer honestly. Most questions you had a range of choices, just like the states one. Either way, they're just silly quizzes to waste some time during the day.
1. Think of a vehicle that really appeals to you – maybe a specific car, boat, or bike you've seen. Now imagine (or remember) finally getting one of your own. The next day, you learn that a friend has treated herself to the same new toy. How, in all honesty, do you feel?
Why does it assume your friend is a woman?
2. When you're driving and you approach a crosswalk with a pedestrian at one edge, how likely are you to stop?
<table class="ui_answers"><tbody><tr> <td class="select_box"><input name="answer" value="1" type="radio"></td> <td class="answer_box">I let pedestrians do the stopping – it's easier for them, and my time is precious.
</td> </tr> <tr><td class="spacer" colspan="2"> </td></tr> <tr> <td class="select_box"><input name="answer" value="2" type="radio"></td> <td class="answer_box">It depends on how much of a rush I'm in.
</td> </tr> <tr><td class="spacer" colspan="2"> </td></tr> <tr> <td class="select_box"><input name="answer" value="3" type="radio"></td> <td class="answer_box">I usually stop, unless it's clear that I can scoot in front of them safely.
</td> </tr> <tr><td class="spacer" colspan="2"> </td></tr> <tr> <td class="select_box"><input name="answer" value="4" type="radio"></td> <td class="answer_box">I always stop – it's the law, and they shouldn't have to wonder what I'll do.
</td> </tr> <tr><td class="spacer" colspan="2"> </td></tr> <tr> <td class="select_box"><input name="answer" value="5" type="radio"></td> <td class="answer_box">I don't drive.
</td></tr></tbody></table>
Where is the option for "I stop for the pedestrian, if I'm confident they won't get run over by the guy on the other side of the intersection"? Where I live, people have no concept of crosswalk laws. I've stopped, had the pedestrian start to cross, then they almost get run over by someone else.
Which of these opinions do you more fully agree with?
<table class="ui_answers"> <tbody> <tr> <td class="select_box"><input name="answer" value="2" type="radio"></td> <td class="answer_box">Most people can be trusted.

I know most of these tests are just for enjoyment, but I can't remember one that has so many unanswerable questions. I don't really know why this one bothers me so much. I think a lot of it is because of the religion question. I don't know much about Christian Scientists, other than the whole "pray instead of medically treat" thing. But seeing that list of possible answers for that question boggles my mind.

A guy was just busted for robbery here. Check out his name.
WINCHESTER — Two men allegedly used baseball bats in a robbery at America’s Best Value Inn over the weekend.
According to a search warrant filed Monday in Winchester Circuit Court, two men — one of whom was arrested Saturday — entered the victims’ room at the America’s Best Value Inn, 1347 Berryville Ave. in Winchester, at about 2:30 a.m.
One of the men also stated that he had a gun, according to the warrant.
Promisemeh Zion Foreva, 32, of Winchester, was arrested as he was leaving the scene.
Apparently, robbing someone with a baseball bat doesn't get you much time. My original post was July of 2012. I saw in today's paper, he's been indicted on cocaine charges.

I really wouldn't do this. I did, however, give my daughter in Ohio access, my son uses my account on his xbox upstairs, I use it on my blueray and tablet, I started getting locked out with a message about "2 devices are logged on" , so I knocked everybody off and changed the password. There is an option for around 12 bucks to allow 4 devices at once. But no, let em get their own.

It reminds me of this party I went to in college where I got invited and committed to go and then the smarmy gay bestie of the person who invited me goes "oh there's a dress code" and sure enough there was a dress code and I was there not having any fun and really detesting everyone and I left very quickly.

Two retarded things I saw on Facebook, today...
The first one was a post (http://www.theonion.com/articles/42-million-dead-in-bloodiest-black-friday-weekend,30517/) by the niece of a friend of mine, with the headline 42 Million Dead In Bloodiest Black Friday Weekend On Record
She posted it and said how horrible it was. One... She obviously has never heard of The Onion. Two... She actually believed that 42 million people could be killed, and the entire country wouldn't shut down.
The other one is from my continuing annoyance of people falling all over themselves, to tell the world that they are praying for accident victims. There was a report of an auto accident. Among the 30 or so posts from people sending their prayers, one said "Sending my prays".

This makes me miss playing hockey. We had a slight incline in my street so when it snowed/rained in the winter you'd get a shitty patch of ice in front of my drive way. I used to put up one of those shitty plastic nets, my Bauer skates, and I'm pretty sure I was wearing a Florida Panthers away jersey (well, away jersey at the time) and I'd go out and shoot the puck around by myself. Sometimes when there was a significantly good time to go skating we'd go to a flood basin a town over and play over there. The ice was always awful but that's how shinny hockey is supposed to be.
I wasn't very good regardless. I was much better at roller hockey and one of my regrets is never joining a team. I was serious about that shit when I was younger too. As soon as I got home from school I was out in front shooting pucks in front of my house. I rememebr playing with my friend and he took a shot and it hit a crack in the asphalt and hit me square in the eye. I spent three days in the hospital because I busted a shit load of blood vessels. I also broke my wrist playing too. You'd think with those injuries young I'd keep on but eventually my right leg just decided to say fuck you to me. I still want to get back into it though. Physical therapy would really help. Once I get this medicine shit sorted out I'll move on to the pain management portion of things and then hopefully get back playing in some capacity, whether ice or (most likely) inline.

Not in a shower like some kind of water fowl. The point of sweating is it evaporates and cools you off, sweating in a shower you just get heat stroke and then feel like you need an additional shower after you're done.

These parents are absolutely insane. These kids aren't going to be professional athletes they are going to kill themselves or someone else.
I could barely make it through the segment:
The dad with the young girl golfer making her cry the whole round-fucking nuts.
The parent yelling at the high school football player in the car, making him cry for no reason what so ever- a lunatic.

Back when we were getting paper statements, CC's had started showing how long it would take to pay off making minimum payments vs paying a larger amount each month and also the total you'd pay either way. I wonder if it's a new law, because I don't think they'd do that on their own.

Heartbreak songs are more interesting, prettier and just better than love songs. That's not meant to be some metaphorical shit, I mean literally I would rather enjoy a song about trouble than a song about happiness. Happiness is one of the worst things you can write a song about, basically because conflict is the driving force behind most artistic expression.
At a wedding can you play sad songs? Do people lyrically note what a song is about and say 'oh that isn't right for this occasion....' I dont think most people listen to song lyrics so I dont think it'd matter.
