I just came back here to say never mind. Im listening to Boomer and Carton and the very first thing they opened with is this! I have no problem with what they do in their bed or with who. But the media as usual will destroy him! How did this come out?
Now I heard the video, there is no dennying that is his voice. I dont know why Im so shocked but I am. Maybe because its an NFL coach in his 40's? I dont know.

In a conference call with Chicago reporters and at his news conference later Wednesday leading up to Sunday's big game with the Bears, Ryan didn't deny a Deadspin.com report that shows a number of videos of a woman who looks very much like his wife showing off her feet while a cameraman -- who sounds like Ryan -- talks to the woman.
"To be honest, and I get it, I know you need to ask and all that stuff," Ryan told reporters when asked if the situation could snowball into a distraction. "But it's a personal matter and I'm really not going to discuss it, OK?"
Ryan said it was between him and his wife and he would not elaborate beyond that.

From a yahoo article on player/injury updates:
On Wednesday, Rex Ryan revealed that Santonio Holmes is dealing with a case of turf toe, but the star receiver is nonetheless likely to play in Week 16. Rex did not elaborate on the appearance of Holmes' toe, nor the soft, delicate arch of his foot. Just in case any of you foot creeps were wondering. …

1) The NFC West is a subpar division, with a certified moron (Singletary) coaching one of the teams.
2) It seems like since the 1/3 point of the year, the two Shanahans have been trying to undermine Donovan.

The whole QB situation in Washington is a pissing contest between the Shananan Boys and Lil' Danny Snyder. McNabb is caught in the middle.
I do think McNabb's skills have fallen off, but I don't think he's that bad, and he probably still has some good seasons left in him.

I dont understand how people say Millen is a good announcer? Hes terrible, he might be a worse GM but hes not much better as an announcer! Last nights game was almost unwatchable listening to those 2 idiots.
With 2:30 left and Dal down 4 and at their own 45 yard line he was bitching about how they arent rushing and wasting time. He kept saying they were playing with no urgency! But later on when Arz was losing with 50 sec left and the ball on their own 45 he was saying how they can take their time there no rush? What? I understand Dallas needed a TD and Arz only needed a fg but Dallas didnt need to rush they needed to play normally. There was plenty of time to go 55 yards.
Joe was just trying to sound smart but hes is retarded. The funny thing is when I was a kid I liked him now I cant remember whuy?

I'm totally thrilled that the Eagles will now have 4 days of rest going into a division matchup with an opponent that will have an 7 days rest and that it might determine whether the Eagles get a first round bye. Most of the fans drive to the games. They take I95, 76 and the Walt Whitman Bridge. I assume they cancelled the game because it would be over around midnight, it wouldve been snowing 11 hours already, and would still be coming down heavily. That means alot of accidents, crazy traffic, and possible fatalities.

Eli "Int" Manning
who really thought this team would win today after they had the biggest debacle in a regular season game in the history of the NFL?
I cant wait to see what Justice has to say!!!
Believe it or not Ant....I saw maybe one quarter's worth of this game. I drove home from my folks' house today to avoid being stuck in north NJ. took me over 3.5 hours to get home. On top of that I have the stomach flu. saw the second quarter, and the last 5 mins of the 3rd. I couldn't take watching them crash and burn between trips of yakking my brains out.
I'm going to assume the assclown that is Eli pulled multiples Gomer Pyle moves and tanked the game again.
I did see Boss drop three passes right to him though...and him screw up the fumble recovery. So he sucked from what I saw.
But no....didn't see most of the game.

Usually, I find this sort of talk just annoying bitching, but it is really really unfair that a team like the Packers might have to scramble to make the playoffs while some garbage team from the NFC West is probably gonna get in at 8-8 or 7-9 and get destroyed in the first round.

I agree, and I don't at the same time. The Rams don't belong there at all, but as good as the Packers did, they aren't the best in their division.
Coincidentally, one of the two teams with the worst regular season record, to make it to the Super Bowl, is the '79 Rams (9-7).

read this last night really no shock. He has no business being a head coach. He was never a head coach anywhere, never even a coordinator. He went from linebacker coach to HC overnight and didnt earn it. For a guy who acted they he demanded respect it really seemed he never was respected or liked by his players. He didnt lead by example if watching his sideline antics with players over the past 2 1/2 years. Intense player but terrible HC. He will be lucky if he ever gets a HC job again even at a small college because no owner will or should hire him as a HC.
Next to be fired and for similar reasons Sparano! I hope he is fired as soon as the season is over. Hes like a glorified male cheerleader with no balls. I want Cowher or Gruden and to be honest Gruden might be a better fit but I would take either happily. The only problem with Gruden is I will have to listen to him talk at Miami press conferences! That could be tough to listen to!

Maybe owners will learn that the "hard-ass disciplinarian" act is of very limited usefulness with professional athletes -- the players eventually get sick of the coach's shit, tune him out, and the team goes down the shitter.
But, of course, they won't.

In my opinion there is a huge difference between guys like the Hoodie & Cowher versus a Singletary.
The good ones have a solid coaching philosophy in place and use their role of "bad cop" to their advantage. The bad ones have a coaching philosophy of "bad cop" and don't understand that its just a role.

I agree. No matter how much of a slob Rex is, players want to play for him. Now he needs to be a little more of a disciplinarian but for the most part he is what todays NFL coaches need to be like.
I cant believe I just gave that gavone a compliment. But I still dont think hes a great coach or xs and os guy. He makes terrible decsions but you cant deny his player will go to battle for his fat ass!

first of all jerk off you nor your little wsj evidence shut anyone down. I go by visuals. I see more fans of certain teams no matter where I go. I also see on many sports sites like espn and cbs that fans are allowed to pick who they follow or like and Miami is always in the 10 on sites where you choose. I also mentioned many times that its funny to me that there are so many Miami fans in NJ that they opened a sport bar for their fans 5 miles away from the shitty jets facility. Yet I have never seen a Jets anything anywhere other then their shared stadium that they cant sell out but the NYG do! Ask fans who they like or root for to find out who they like.
I would take my team and fans over the Jets any day of the week.
Now to what TS was saying he was saying down in Florida there isnt a huge fans base because no one is from Miami. I dont know about that but I can believe it. Its like LA, LV, or any newly developed area that has had a huge population growth over the past 20 years. People come from all over and stay fans of teams from where they are from or who they always liked. NY, Philly, Chicago those big cities should have huge fan bases because those teams have been around for 80 years, they are also in the most populated.

At first I thought he did that because he was scared he was going to get caught from behind. Then I watched it again and again and realized he did it for just that to not run the score up and because he knew they had a 1st down and would be able to run it out!

I think the Rams being led by a rookie qb and so much youth on the team at least can be fun to watch and 8-8 would be a pretty damn good season for them all things considered. If it was Seattle, Arizona or that idiot in SF and his team making it I'd be much more upset. Just making a playoff appearance at such an early stage for the Rams alone could be big for their future even is one and done. However, they'll have ZERO pressure and this year is soooo up in the air it's anyone's game, especially in the NFC.

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3yAzJxN1hVY?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3yAzJxN1hVY?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Not sure how we know the Miami fan was being a scumbag, but being the bigger man has no place in professional sports any longer I guess. The guy sounds like a complete asshole to me.
I will add 1 more thing to my pro Miami posts. We can all agree that MNF only puts the best teams with the biggest fan base and best match ups on MNF?
Well Miami has played more Monday night games then any other team. There is a reason for that and its because people want to see them. Dallas is #2!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monday_Night_Football_all-time_team_standings
I would guess ratings is king and the Jets are a ratings disaster! Well at least now people want to see them just to see what idiotic thing they will do next!
I'm sorry, but Miami may have been interesting to watch at one point in time, but they do not have one of the biggest national fanbases in the nation.
That's just fucking crazy talk.

never said they did what I did say was they have a big fan base and higher then some stupid wall st journal article. my point is would Miami continue to get 2 or 3 MNF games a year and another thursday or sunday night game if they had a small fan base? no all these tv exes care about are ratings and Miami obviously gives them ratings. Its not like Miami racked up all their MNF games in the 90s and that was it. They have always been 1 of the most booked prime time games.
They are boring as shit right now though I cant deny that!

Just like this argument bc you guys aren't using a SINGLE fact, it's all "I never said that" and "what I meant was" bullshit. Saying they are more popular bc you made up a FACT that they are viewed more isn't holding up either. It's called pull as well. Teams get games, as with the Super Bowl, based on their pull/connections, location, weather and sooooo many other factors such as winning. It's not just based on viewing/ratings. Break those numbers down Snacks. Show me the Phin's games of the last few years were of the highest in the league and I'll take it all back. However, the Lions simply get Tday games bc of TRADITION. It's not based on their amazing Thanksgiving fan base and ratings.

I was just watching this game and immediately said out loud 'I think the Eagles can win with Vick', they'd be smart to sign him long term in the offseason. It's the best shot they've had since 2004

yah i think you are crazy but we all have our picks
as the vikes did on the last series, put constant pressure on Vick and don't let Machlin and Jackson eat up HUGE chunks of yardage on gift plays. the Eagle's line is pretty f'n piss poor, so not attacking there is simply phoning it in Giant's second half style.

Also, the Philly D is NOWHERE close to good enough for a long run in the playoffs in my mind. Let's all remember, the fucking Giants and Eli Manning TORCHED them early for 4 tds in the air until they went into comma mode.

Then again, New Orleans wasn't exactly ripping up the league on D last year. However, they did have a knack for the HUGE turnover for TD or in a big spot when needed.

That right there is the Vick I remember from Atlanta. I think we'll see more of it in the playoffs with the likes of GB (if they make it), Chicago and Atlanta bringing the pressure all day.
St. Louis won't go far, but a team with nothing to lose playing on house money can be dangerous for a week or so. Yet it's crazy to see how crazy up in the air the NFC is. You never know who the fuck will come out of the conf.

I dont need to give you any numbers. Do you really think that they would put Miami on MNF for no reason or do they do it to pull ratings?
You know you fucking amaze me some time. Youre never fucking wrong and talk shit about everything. But god forbid someone else talks shit about their own team you get like a little bitch. Facts are facts we all know shows get cancelled and extended based on ratings. We also know that everything is about money. So why would someone who has pull get Miami on TV but other teams that might be better or have a bigger fan base get left out? It makes no sense.

And yah, I'll take your hissy fit as a sign I am in fact right on an issue that means jackshit to me. Yes, the guy who has been biased towards anything Miami ISN'T the guy who is always right, it's the rest of the board and me in particular. You're really reaching now. I argue my OPINIONs plenty fine too I agree. Unlike you who are making your assumptions reality bc you fancy a team. It's pretty funny to watch every Miami argument play out to say the least.

He has always been pretty awful in cold weather games. Even that win in Lambeau in 2003 was just okay statistically. Cold footballs and baby hands aren't usually a recipe for success.

Vick has 21 and isn't a first time starter like Kolb would have been. Vick's 9 TDs on the ground don't happen for just about any other qb in the game now or otherwise. Of his 21, many came off the scramble as well, behind a terrible line, of which Kolb does not posses the athleticism/skill to do the same no matter how long he plays.
So no.

And I agree Kolb wouldnt have had 9 rushing TDs, but I did assume / hope hed play all 16 games as well.
And I also thought a guy that has been learning Andy Reids offense for at least 3 years, and that started with the team last year and did very well wouldve done better then a guy that hasnt started in 3 years and hasnt done anything football related including practice or even tossing a football around in 2 of them.
I never in a million years thought the Eagles would have a better chance of winning with Vick as their starter then with Kolb. NOBODY did.

I dont remember anybody here saying it. And I know for a fact none of the "experts" on ESPN or NFL Network said it either. Most guys thought his career was basically over. That he might be able to get work as a backup but his days of being a starter were done. Look how many former players said taking 2 years off would kill his career. They said it was too much to come back from in this NFL.

It was more when they were choosing bt the two after each played about a game or so. I for one said bc of the line, Vick's mobility and the contract status of both it made complete sense to put Vick in, as I did to the shitload of Eagle fans in my family. yeah but when youre talking about a QB i think we all thought you meant passing TDs. if he had 34 passing tds and 1 catching td i dont think one person here would say you won. now if youre talking about vick i would guarantee someone would have said 35 total tds not just the word tds.
