never thought he was that good. before the season started some sports website was talking about how over ranked he is and how Flacco gets less respect then him yet he might be the better of the 2 and not just for fantasy.
didnt you have matt ryan like 7th on your QB list?

Wasn't he signed like on the first day after the lockout? Like I remember looking up after the deal was done and he was signed.

Aside from that pick he was dominating. 14 for 21, 221 yards a TD and a pick is fucking awful?
It's the run game that looks awful.
that and his inability to get away from pressure, turnovers that kept Indy in the game and was their ONLY offense in the end and finally his idiotic choice never to throw the ball away
he turned the ball over 3 times, twice putting the ball on the ground, leading to 13 of Indy's 20 pts. let's also remember, he was playing Indy
ben was pretty much the only reason Indy was in the game

Harvard Vs Stafford in the Superbowl.... Lions 28- Bills 20
McNabb is now Football Team Poison ...
Schaub may not able able to win the big game and him and Kubiak may have to be canned once the fighting Hasslebacks win that Division
The Steelers were paid big $$ to keep that Colt game close to help Ratings
Phillip Rivers is a jerk who single-handedly making me lose Fantasy Football matchups

I didnt see the game, but I heard when they were up 2, they ran the ball 3 straight times even thought it would give Washington the ball with 2 minutes left and 2 timeouts. Does that sound like a coach confident in putting the ball in his QBs hand at the end of the game? Just saying...

You realize they were about to put D lineman on O it is so depleted with injury. Ben was the only reason Indy was in the it? Either you didn't watch the game or just don't understand it. I'm not even a Ben fan. It seems like you are to sports opinions what WrestlingFan is to political views.
Oh, and his stats; 25/37 for 364 yards a TD and a pick. Rating of 97.1 which was in the top 5 for the week. The team looked bad, not Ben. Again, normally I'm first to bash him but you're flat out wrong here.

ah, no
he turned the ball over 3 times in very stupid fashion and it lead to almost all the points for the other team that had no offense for 99% of the game
look in the mirror buddy, bc wfan makes his own side to be better than it is even in the face of facts. ben had one pass of 81 yards early due to wallace burning up the d and since that moment was not good bc he didn't protect the ball, and it led to almost all the opposing team's offense and momentum. w/o it, they win in a route. either you didn't watch the game or you're a fucking homer even if you say you aren't.

not sure wtf they saw on those
however, there is the norm for SD
bailed out by a deep route td and the work of qb keeping the team in it

It's funny. Quite a few entertainers have made comparisons between Bush and Hitler and/or Nazis, and they got a pass, and Hank's gonna get crucified for this.
What's worse is that he didn't even say Obama was Hitler, he was making comparisons between enemies hanging out. Incredibly poor choice of words, but he didn't say Obama = Hitler.
Well, it may or may not be a little hypocritical, but if it ends one of the shittiest "traditions" in sports broadcasting, I'm A-OK with it.
Now we just need to get Dick Vitale to go on Fox & Friends.

they get a pass how? Tons of celebs might have done it, but none of them were doing the theme song for a primetime network show. Im sure if they had been, they woulda got the same reaction. But fans dont give a fuck, so songs will keep being bought, movies will keep being paid for, regardless of what people say. Its when you possibly turn off sponsors, thats when they fuck you

Garrard isnt that good thats why he was cut and hasnt been signed even though hes only 33. He had 1 decent year when he threw for 18 tds and 3 ints. His career avgs as a starter are garbage. from 2006-2010 thats 5 years as a starter he avg 16 tds a year, 10 ints, 2800 yards.

Miami isnt going to win anything this year so why bring in someone nobody wants? At least Sage has been there before has been good when given a chance to start. When he started in Houston he was really good and thats why Minn traded for him to make him their starter and paid him $4 million a year problem was Favre decided to un-retire for the 10th time and it screwed him.

Yah against what amounts to arguably the worst D in the league too. I never believed in the guy to be a qb. I still wouldn't shy away from more of a slash or wr role for the guy moving forward. In reality, put Kafka behind center and use Vick in another way. It won't happen, but the guy is an athlete, not a qb. Use him in space, not in the pocket.

yet its not even the biggest killer among the cancers! Lung cancer is and colon cancer are higher!
Breast cancer has 1/4 the yearly deaths as Lung yet has more then 2 1/2 time the research and funding. I guess the argument would be that the reason lung cancer is so high is smoking which is true. But then why does breast cancer get more then 2 1/4 times the amount of funding then colon cancer? Answer is easy because men get Colon cancer more often!

two things:
1) Sanchez is not showing the growth he should be to be an NFL QB. He isn't a horrible QB, but he's not a great QB. I don't know why Sanchez, when he had three targets in Keller, Holmes, and Plax, isn't getting it done. Is an an issue with Schottenheimer? Is it all on Sanchez? I don't know. But there growth curve is not there.
So-so QBs can get by on a team when there's a good D or other weapons to back them up. I think that's why Sanchez wasn't so exposed last year because the D was so good.
Now the D isnt that good, Schottenheimer runs a shit offense, and there's a lot of failings here.
2) I also liked what I saw in McElroy in the preseason, but I also know it was preseason and McElroy was mainly playing against second team defenses. So you can't use that small sample size to say "yay McElroy" when he also made some dumbass mistakes (like throwing past the line of scrimmage)

I'm far from screaming any jet qb's praises, much less some kid who never took a reg season snap. What I do know is Sanchez is atrocious and his future looks shitty. I'm sure he'll have some moments over time, but more than have my doubts he'll be a successful NFL qb outside of managing a game. Put the game on him, and be ready to be let down.
Who is the last Jet qb anyone could surely get behind? Pennington, Vinny, Boomer? To me the last true Jet qb I respect is Ken O'Brien.

Towards the end for Pennington, a lot of Jets fans in forums turned on him for Clemens of all people (!!) -- because Jets fans have seen what McElroy can do - or at least what they THINK he can do - I can see the same happening for Sanchez if this continues.
That said, I'm not going to bury Sanchez completely unless he fails under a new OC. I think the issues for the Jets offense on a whole stem from Schottenheimer.
People wanted him gone last year. I could see it happening mid-season, possibly, if this shit continues.

No. Ryan Leaf, that's a horrible QB. JaMarcus Russell, that's a horrible QB.
Phil Simms had one less INT than TDs until AFTER he won the Super Bowl in 1986. His completion percentage was 56%. By that mindset, is Phil Simms a horrible QB too?
I'm not trying to be a dick, but it seems in your mind, you're either awesome or horrible with no grey in between. Sanchez isn't horrible, but he's not awesome. No one is screaming he's a bust.

put it this way. he makes horrible decisions. to me, that makes a horrible QB. He has physical talent, and thats why he makes plays. but then he does alot of dumb shit.
And blame schott all you want, and im sure he isnt doin a great job. But im also sure he didnt call for sanchez to stand behind perfect protection and throw balls right to DBs either

Most quarterbacks do dumb shit like that. Even hall of famers do dumb shit like that. But if Sanchez doesn't get out of this plateau and I don't see him in a different system, I'm not sure if I can bury the guy. That's all I'm saying.
