gb had 5 more mins time of possession and had less yards and less 1st downs. NO hurt themselves with bad decisions. They should have had 3-5 more plays on that last drive but Brees didnt spike the ball 2 times when he should have and with time running out he dumped the ball in the middle 2 times for 2 short gains instead of getting rid of the ball. Plus they should have kicked a fg on 4th down earlier and they had 2 terrible sacks that was all Brees when 1 of them he easilt could have thrown it out of bounds while being out of the pocket. This is important. I've always felt like Reggie Bush's NFL career has been harmed by the fact he doesn't get he's in college anymore, and he tries to do this razzle-dazzle running sideways and spinning shit when sometimes he should just put his head down and get a yard or two more, rather than trying to be a hero and losing 3 or 4 more.

I was comparing the entire trade and also going by projections. Do you want me to post what I wrote?

Here you go! No one would make this trade especially preseason. That was my point and we will see when the seasons over but I still wouldnt make that trade today.


Just going by projections alone you gave up 396 points and got 280 back.

Lets go by last year and this years projections.

Dez 2010 45 rec, 561 yards, 6 tds
2011 ?? rec, 1088 yards, 9 tds (better then even you expect)

Jacobs 2010 880 total yards, 9 tds
2011 810 total yards, 7 tds

Collie 2010 58 rec, 650 yards, 8 tds
2011 ?? rec, 781 yards, 9 tds

Foster 2010 2210 total yards, 18 tds
2011 1925 total yards, 13 tds

Dez should be better but basically they are expecting 300 more yards and same tds. So its not like you got a ton of points with Dez that you werent getting with Collie. Actual fantasy point projections Collie 132 vs Dez 162 = 30 points not a huge difference.

Do we even need to compare Foster and Jacobs? Lets make this a simple and easy comparison. Projected points: Foster 264 vs Jacobs 118 = 146 point advantage is HUGE for Foster.

Before you say fuck projections and who cares what espn has them at ... Right now thats all we can go by is last year and projections since the season hasnt started yet.

As for return yards. I have never been in an espn league before but I know from every other league I have been in the special teams tds only go towards the defense not towards the actual player. Also I have never heard of return yards being counted. I looked at the rules and scoring and it doesnt mention it unless I missed it but either way my opinion was the trade was way 1 sided thats why I vetoed it.
