if ever I was asked to defend my watching DWTS, all i need to show is the 2nd half of this game and say cause this was on
ENOUGH SAID. I WIN
yah, you win this beautiful rainbow flag
Screw that. I would have agreed with you before last week. He was getting his ass beat, literally, then pulled it together and took that game over against Dallas. The guy's changing. Martz is having an effect. Get him another receiver and then he'll really get it going.
He's garbage. If not for penalties/drops, he throws 5 interceptions tonight.
Absolute trash.

they do count eps
however, man did he get lucky for being a bitch on the one pic (roughing) and the other duck pic bc it was sooooo under thrown it fucked up the good coverage of the db.
Ritalin

I literally just turned on the game and saw him throw to the wrong team 3 fucking times. He still blows and is getting Detroit game type lucky. He'll bite you in the ass soon enough, don't you worry. Insulin boy isn't winning on his own and started turning it around the last few weeks of 09 before Martz. Plain and simple, smoke and mirrors my friend...LOTS of smoke.
Could be, I agree, but they've got the Giants on Sunday and that could be 4-0. He threw one with a helmet under his facemask, Greg Olsen got cut off on the route in the end zone - a bad throw, I'll admit, and they purposely underthrew the receiver on that last play and the guy was held.
We'll see. I don't put them in the Super Bowl right now, but the playoffs look real.

Ok. I think he's better than last year, and I think he's gonna get better. Maybe I'm wrong.

So I see. Epo's world: you is what you is.
(watch out for Detroit coming off the short week. They're due)
October 21, 1945. The last time the Packers had this many penalties.
Don't tell me shit about the Bears...the Packers just sucked tonight.

Game footnote:
I simply can't see GB going the full year with Jackson/Kuhn as the RB tandem, so look for that Lynch/Jackson or some other RB trade to come before the deadline. He simply can't be relied on and really would hurt their playoff hopes. We'll see, but I just can't see him turning it around if he can't rush on Buffalo with the likes of Rodgers and the that passing attack opening up the lanes.

Tennessee had one last chance with 33 seconds left, but Vince Young’s(notes) third incompletion fell to the turf as time expired to overshadow a game in which Tennessee had a season-high in sacks and an interception. Young’s second pass went through Kenny Britt’s(notes) hands deep in Denver territory.
“This loss is unfortunately an example of just not being able to make the play at the end to close this game out, and that is exactly what happened,” Titans coach Jeff Fisher said.
You know, the guy with 10 catches on the year and 90 yards in 4 games? Are we thinking about the same guy or are you getting this jaded toward one team versus biased towards anyone from another? Serious question. I'm not trying to go at you either, it's just you seem to be so pissed everything you say is way off base.

Nix had a very good night too almost matching Britt's whole season with 8 for 110 and two near tds (fuck me!). I realize they had some issues early with balls off their wrs hands this year, so perhaps their early play calling had something to do with it and getting the ground game going. The Bears got beat up by the run overall too, after coming in as one of the top ranked run stopping D's too.

I was just pointing out the reasoning is silly. Picking on Rex for a lot of things is one thing, but saying that your coach is losing weight "the right way" is silly. It's like me saying Rex knows to wear goggles when hot boiling liquids are involved.
Rex has zero discipline. As for Sporano he was a teen working in fast food you dickhead. But I dont give 2 shits about him either Fire him for all I care. They already fired the special teams coach! 1 Down 2 more to go!

thats the only part of this I dont really get. one of the big reasons people get open so oftenis because of the deep threat Moss creates. their defense already stinks, i dont see the logic in getting worse on offense as well. unless they're planning on doing with what they did in 2005, just take your chances with a decent offense and start a quick rebuilding process for 2011 or beyond. if they can get something of value for him I'm ok with it, not happy but ok

Not so according to a few reports out there. In fact, the move may very well be a three-way trade to make it happen where Moss goes to Minny, picks go to SD and NE gets VJax in a few weeks. Not bad for all I guess, bc Moss is out of the game plan and being his asshole self again in NE, VJax likes driving drunk in SD and Favre has wanted Moss for years now.
We'll see, but Jackson with Brady wouldn't be that bad either, and he's much younger. His upside isn't quite as high, and he comes with some baggage as well. Still, he'll probably be a good cit for about 2-3 years which they'd want I bet.
I'll be watching the situation closely. Also, I do like the way that SD and NE handle their teams / issues versus teams like NYJ, Cincy and Oakland.
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK!!!!!
Unless it's Jarred Fucking Allen or Kevin Fucking Williams coming back you can go fuck yourself Belichick

Its like Brad Childress is letting Favre call the plays. Adrian Peterson digs you out of the hole, so you throw 3 times in a row to kill the drive.

Shes nothing. Why would she care about a small career setback if she could grab a quick 6 figure settlement?
Not to mention the fucking timing of it actually getting fully out there was the VIKINGS COMING TO THE JETS. Come on, it screams planned timing with the intent of media attention to drop the hammer on him and the soon to come civil suit versus Favre, the Jets and the NFL I'm sure. We'll see, but two years later make zero sense and I wonder how much Deadspin ponied up just to run fully with it among other outlets?

I'm confused about something. I thought ALL of this had been out there for quite a long time. The pics, AND the voice mails. Was any of this only made public in the last week or so?

Deadspin pretty much knew of it bc of conversations about it with her and one of the writers but she "asked" them not to run with it. They decided it was too juicy and went classic douchebag tmz style and ran a story on it anyway with no validation or proof bc she wouldn't sign off on it or admit it. Now she is and obviously building toward legal action as her manager's statement shows but who knows. It's fucking 2 years later and we all know Favre is an attention whore, painkiller taking womanizer anyway. I really don't care but I bet his wife does.
The point here is, how many times did he go this route with women and they just banged him without any news in a Tiger Woods type fashion? My guess is plenty and we may see an avalanche of women coming out here soon if so bc once the dam breaks all these women seem big on getting their attention too and money if possible.

I hate Favre.
I hate Sterger.
I was actually on Sterger's side in all of this, but it still makes me wonder how Deadspin got the info. The elephant in the room is that since this much time has passed, the source of the leak is undoubtedly Sterger.
She gave it to Deadspin. It's not a fucking mystery.
Did you miss the second part of that paragraph where I said "it's undoubtedly Sterger"? No he saw it, but read ur fucking idiotic foggy post in its entirety. You really can't even let something like that go, of course Udog was off, NO YOU!!!!! What the fuck was he thinking reading ur first sentence too versus UR OBVIOUS MAIN PT in the second part. Yah, ok champ.
I meant it's not a discussion. Deadspin has been pretty clear the entire time that she gave everything to AJ, even including quotes of her asking him not to release it. She sent it.
Still wondering, but not, then again...:wallbash:
Why would you even comment on his confusion? Udog, I mean uhhhhh...

It wouldn't be a small career setback. It would be toxic to her career. Especially since Favre still has a legion of apologists.

in the afc west in spite of norv and his 2-3 starts (2-4 this year), not bc of him
They are still in it this year now too bc the chiefs are now losing every week too and the broncos are iffy at best. What a TERRIBLE division overall! And it's better this year!! HA! Man Turner sucks.

That Hernandez on New England is a chirpy little prick.
Glad to see him drop 2 passes late in that game.
Branch was kind of a clown too on a few passes for a guy who caught a 9 yard pass and flopped to the ground before taking a hit.

You mean for a guy with 9 catches 98 yards and a td? I say keep chirping. Sounds especially retarded when you're talking about playing the ravens who chirp nonstop.

Ray Lewis talks but if you think Hernandez and Branch ( who hadn't had 7 catches in a game since 2007 or some such stat ) are in his league you're delusional.

You're right. Lewis only has one ring. Branch is nowhere near being in his league.

Oh that's the argument huh ? More rings makes you better ?
So a future HOFer, possibly the best if not 2nd best LB ever pales, in your eyes, to Branch because he has 2 more rings ?
I guess Kevin Faulk is better than Walter Payton right ?

You know, going 3-1 without Ben "Hey Check Out My Cock" Roethlisberger showed that this Steelers team is pretty damn good otherwise. And now he's back, and despite showing a little rust, he looked good.
I think you gotta say the Steelers are the favorite to win it all this year now. They're the only team that truly looks dominant.

And the thing was they were handed a chance to win the game on a silver platter. The Colts threw 3 dumbass passes that only burned about 16 seconds off the clock and didn't force the Redskins to use a timeout. But the Redskins then pissed that chance away.
It was a dogshit ending to what had been a good game.

I didnt watch the game because I was busy watching Roy Oswalt run through stop signs and scoring on San Fran. Let me guess....McNabb and Washington had a chance to win the game and he threw a pick? Nah. That couldnt possibly be it.

No. Actually, the turnovers were all on the Colts. The Skins just couldn't move the ball in their last possession. Kudos to Landry for completely crushing that Haitian dude, though!

I thought you'd at least come back with something like Matt Cassell is better than Peyton Manning and Dan Marino since he has 2 more rings than the 2 of them combined.
I guess in your logic he's as good as Manning, Marino and Elway since he has as many rings as the 3 combined.
I know Welker's your little engine that could and gives you motivation to get up everday but I'll get back to him in a few weeks when you see him w/ 4 receptions for 40 yards a game since the league isn't actually afraid of Branch as they might've been of Moss.

I agree with you. Anytime I hear someone talk about the value of a player based on the amount of rings they have, they may as well say, "I listen to a lot of sports talk radio".
Using super bowl rings as a measuring stick for talent in football is the same as using wins for baseball. Teams win superbowls, not individual players.

The only time the argument makes sense, to a point, is when you compare things that are similar.
You wanna argue that Brady is better than Manning because he has 2 more rings then I can see your line of thinking.
If you think Deion Branch is better than Randy Moss because he has 3 more rings than you need to be medicated.

but even that argument isnt a good one. It still comes down to teams and coaching. Last night while watching Indy play and then the after game show I was talking to my cousin and we both agreed the only reason those great Indy teams have 1 win is their last 2 coaches are god awful and over rated. Dungy might be a nice guy but he doesnt make me want to win he makes me want to go to sleep. He has the personality of a wet noodle, he seems to have no fire in his belly. I think that had more to do with TB winning the year after they fired him because Gruden is a passionate coach. Look at Dallas, has any team had more talent then them? Wade is too nice, he might be a likable coach but you dont want to fight for or with a guy like that when it comes to sports especially when it comes to football.

The argument stands with starting QBs because a big part of that job is leading your team to victory. They are the general. The other players are the soldiers. Thats why I agree the Deion Branch argument doesnt hold water, but I definitely put Brady above both Manning and Marino.

I don't even know if I agree with this. If you put Manning on the Patriots, are they any worse? If you put Brady on the Colts, are they any better? What's wrong with digesting their stats and looking at their performances in the regular and post-season and making a judgement from there? I think the Brady/Moss '07 season was the best ever by a QB/WR, regardless of the result of that years superbowl and I think Manning is the best QB of this generation, regardless of his ring count.
